The top revolver is a 1910 vintage Colt in 32-20 and the bottom revolver is a “blackpowder frame” Cimarron in the same caliber. Five ground groups were fired back to back comprising the overall group. Handling characteristics are virtually identical. The sights are of the narrow type used before 1920. While less-favored than the later and current sight picture, they can be used for precision shooting. (courtesy Mike Cumpston for The Truth About Guns)
