How I Use the PF-1 Concealed Carry EDC Bag

To be completely transparent, I’ve always preferred carrying my concealed weapon on my person rather than off-body. The PF-1 Armored Fast Access EDC CCW Bag has become a game-changer for me, especially when traveling or on extended road trips. While it’s marketed as an off-body concealed carry solution, this bag has versatility beyond just carrying a firearm.

For example, I often use my PF-1 as a minimalist range bag or a travel companion during long road trips. I don’t always want to lug around a full-size range bag in these situations, and the PF-1 serves as a perfect middle ground. It’s compact but still has enough space to carry all my essential gear without being cumbersome.

The way I have my PF-1 loaded out, it could even double as a bail-out bag in an emergency where I need to ditch my vehicle or leave a hotel room quickly. Having a bag that can handle both defensive and practical needs is a huge plus in my book.

When I was in the SEAL Teams and working with OGA in Iraq, most squared away guys kept a little “Go Bag”.  The purpose was when the sh** hit the fan, you could grab your bag and pretty much have what you needed (bare essentials only) to get the hell out of dodge.  In Iraq, this usually consisted of bullets, first aid kit, US dollars, blood chit, water, more bullets and some other essentials.” – Brandon Webb

Here’s what I typically carry in my PF-1 EDC bag:

  • Glock 17 with Holosun 507C
  • Four spare Glock 17 magazines +1 in the gun (for a total of five loaded mags!)
  • Compact trauma kit for gunshot wounds
  • Passport (always handy when traveling)
  • Cash (because cash is king during any type of power outage or communication blackout)
  • Portable power bank for my iPhone
  • Mission Darkness Faraday Bag for when I don’t want anyone tracking my iPhone
  • Spare EDC flashlight with extra batteries

The PF-1 does more than just hold a firearm—it holds peace of mind. Whether it’s the gear I need to survive an emergency situation or the essentials for a long road trip, the PF-1 makes sure I’m prepared for the unexpected.

Conclusion

In a world where unpredictability seems to be the only constant, being prepared is not just an option—it’s a necessity. The PF-1 Armored Fast Access EDC CCW Bag is an essential tool for anyone serious about personal safety and readiness. From its lightning-fast access to your concealed carry weapon to its built-in ballistic protection, this bag offers functionality and security that is hard to find elsewhere.

While I’m typically a strong advocate for on-body carry, the versatility of the PF-1 has won me over. It’s perfect for situations where off-body carry is more practical, whether you’re traveling, hitting the range, or needing a quick-deploy bail-out bag. The design’s durability, organization, and functionality make it much more than just a CCW bag—it’s a compact, armored solution that prepares you for any situation.

At the end of the day, the PF-1 EDC bag is more than just a piece of gear. It’s a piece of mind. Whether you’re on the road, facing unpredictable threats, or simply need a functional everyday carry bag, the PF-1 ensures you’re ready for whatever comes your way. For those looking for a concealed carry EDC bag that offers both protection and speed, the PF-1 is an outstanding choice.

  1. $180.00 Bucks! Are you kidding me?

You can find comparable bags, made from the same material, with the same utility, with the same shape and size, fro9m other ‘sports/outdoors equipment sectors’ just called different things… for less than $50.00.

Its a pretty common China OEM design. It appears across various sports/outdoors equipment areas branded with name brands and some not and sometimes the internals may vary a little. And sure, it might not have some elastic straps to hold the mags but seriously is an elastic strap to hold some mags worth $180.00?

  2. Off- body EDC. Nope.

My friend, Faraday, tried off-body carry. Left high bag in a Columbus Ohio cab. That was the end of that.

  3. That’s really not that bad of a price considering your get ballistic anti-stab stuff panels.
Improvisation saves a little money, it’s good to save money, money buys bullets.
I improvise my faraday cage by using aluminum foil.
I have improvised and made bullets, well actually a shotgun slug, out of aluminum foil. Then I shot my used to be a friend in the ass with it.
“Oww, MuthrFcker!, what’d you do that for?”
    Did it hurt?
    “Fck yeah, asshole.”
Huh, how about that, and that was just the primer. Cool, I bet it’d really hurt with powder.
    [rubbing his ass]
“Don’t try it out on me.”

The “(2) 6 in. x 8 in. Level IIIA Dual Threat (Ballistic/Stab) Panels” (its called Legacy IIIA Armour when you order it) – are extra, they don’t come with the basic bag for $180.00. If you get it with those the price goes to $329.00.

  4. Wife and I both have ballistic vests, so I just need a backpack. Not bugging out because don’t live where idiots live. Am I the only one looking forward to a complete grid breakdown?

  5. Oh, so that’s not with the panels.
Kinda high however I just got from grocery shopping so when a person gets used to throwing hundred dollar bill’s around like they are 20’s high prices ain’t that big a deal.
If this economy doesn’t get better the only affordable housing a person is going to have is behind bars.
    Jailer, more toilet paper please.
