With President Joe Biden bowing out of the presidential race on Sunday and throwing his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris, it’s anybody’s bet who will be on the Democratic ticket when voting day rolls around.

One name that keeps coming up, unfortunately, is Hillary Clinton, who has run for president twice and failed in her election bid both times. In fact, before Biden’s announcement, Clinton supporters were already making their case in the media.

In an opinion piece published Saturday by The Hill, Pablo O’Hana, a senior political advisor and commentator, said Hillary was the answer to the Democrat’s current woes. And, amazingly, he painted Hillary as having youth on her side in the race.

“Let’s get this out of the way first: Clinton is younger than both Biden and Trump,” O’Hana wrote. “Given the current furor over age, this is not a trivial fact; energy and stamina are equated with capability.”

Interestingly, Clinton is 76 years old. By comparison, former President Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, is 78—only two years older.

While Clinton being two years Trump’s junior is a dumb enough reason for an endorsement, O’Hana made several other ignorant points in his endorsement of Clinton.

“Clinton is a ready-made replacement,” he wrote. “She possesses an unparalleled resume and an unmatched depth of experience. She has consistently redefined the roles she has served, from secretary of State and U.S. senator to first lady and Children’s Defense Fund attorney. Her extensive background in domestic and international affairs is not just impressive; at a time when global politics are increasingly volatile and complex, her experience is priceless. Her continued advocacy for children’s rights and health care—a topic of ever-increasing importance post-pandemic—adds another layer of appeal.”

In the end, O’Hana firmly believes that Hillary is the answer. Though in my mind it’s doubtful with all the negative baggage she carries that she would have a good chance of beating Trump.

“The Democrats have a seasoned, savvy and adaptable candidate in Hillary Clinton,” he said. “Without the burden of incumbency, she can run on a platform of stability, restoration and progress, with the credibility of her lifetime in public service and proven leadership. In her candidacy, we might just find our best chance to retain the White House and transcend the gladiatorial spectacle of politics.”

As most The Truth About Guns readers know, Clinton is just as anti-gun as Harris and some of the other possible replacements. We detailed their gun-ban credentials just last week.

In fact, Hillary is even worse. Whether or not she understands the Second Amendment, she clearly disdains and distrusts that freedom. She distrusts the American people to possess that freedom. So, she wants control over every aspect of your right to keep and bear arms—so she can deny it at will.

As Clinton vowed in a Democratic primary debate in 2008, “I will also work to reinstate the assault weapons ban”—a position she reiterated several times since then. Speaking of those who are against such a ban, she said: “We cannot let a minority of people—and that’s what it is, it is a minority of people—hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people.”

She’s also in favor of national gun registration, getting rid of the safeguard that protects gun manufacturers from being sued for criminal use of their lawful product and, of course, “universal” background checks.

On Sunday, Bill and Hillary Clinton released a joint statement saying they support Harris as the Democrat presidential candidate. However, with the Clintons’ propensity to say one thing and mean another, it wouldn’t be a big surprise if Hillary eventually throws her hat into the ring.

One thing working against a Hillary candidacy is the animosity between the Clintons and the Obamas, who many observers believe are actually running the Democrat party. Until Democrats finally determine their candidate four weeks from now at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Republicans  need to at least keep a possible run against Hillary in the back of their minds.

  1. “Children’s rights”?!? Not before they’re born. The daughter of the devil hates your baby😧

    • And many who worked with them met premature endings.

Not to mention the blatant fraud known as the Clinton Foundation.

        • “Benghazi“

Yes, let’s not forget that the Republicans found Hillary Clinton was not culpable for the debacle in Benghazi:

“House Republicans investigating the 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya, have found no new evidence to conclude that Hillary Clinton, secretary of state at the time, was culpable in the deaths of four Americans, according to the committee’s final report released on Tuesday.
The 800-page document released by the Republicans on the House select committee on Benghazi brought to a close a fiercely partisan, two-year, $7m investigation that included interviews with more than 80 witnesses.“

          • MINOR49er, I don;t know where you got that dribble from, but it it’s poppycock.

  2. SHillarry’s continued advocacy for children’s right?
You mean the ones that are able to make it out of the womb alive?

      • That was a fun hearing to watch; two race cards, one think of the children, a good half-hour of AR15s are evil, two terrible groupings at 150 yards being bragged about along with _everyone_ agreeing Cheatle needs to resign.

  3. All this is just a preview. Time to pull out the popcorn and snacks and put your favorite adult beverages on ice, we are gonna have a front row seat while the Democrats are sharpening their knives for the bloodletting that will be the Chicago ’24 DNC.

    • And it will be a big opportunity for the local urban entrepreneurs.

Someone has to supply the hookers and blow. And not just to Slick Willy.

  4. Yes yes! Please I want that white woman. Go ahead.
Abortion is the number 1 issue. Kick that black mixed race female Harris to the curb.
And watch Chiraq burn to the ground. During the democrats convention.

“Abortion is murder. And I’m OK with that.”
    video 1 min long.

    • I was five (5) years old in ’68, my parents watched WABC 7 (NYC), I remember the DNC Convention that year, even at that age I knew Commies weren’t getting enough “hickory shampoos”, I can’t wait for the sequel.

      • I am looking forward to the police being ordered to stand down and do nothing. Like what happens now on nearly every weekend, during a street takeover.

Or individual cops will just let things happen. Because they know the criminals won’t be prosecuted.

They wanted to defund the police. This is okay with me. Now live with the consequences.

It’s going to have get much much worse. Before the libertarians liberals and the left demand the cops stop the criminals.

Because right now they support the criminals.

        • ChiCongo DNC 2024 is going to be a riot, I’m gonna need more popcorn, lots more popcorn.

  5. Eeewww, please refrain from using ” Hillary ” and ” plugging ” in the same sentence – it’s breakfast time for a lot of us.

  6. Has there been any attempt to restart the Clinton Foundation? If not this is out IMO.

  7. “Let’s get this out of the way first: Clinton is younger than both Biden and Trump,” O’Hana wrote. “Given the current furor over age, this is not a trivial fact; energy and stamina are equated with capability.”

Yup. When Cankles collapsed and had to be manhandled into her van at ground zero, she was the picture of energy and stamina.

  8. Do it.
Hillary is a candidate so horrible that she wil lose no matter what.
Well, i shouldn’t say that since the safest and most secure 3am ballots changed the last election, but still. Even the left and most definetly swing voters hate her.

  9. In an opinion piece published Saturday by The Hill…

C’mon, that wasn’t an “opinion piece” that was a political contribution from The Hill to Clinton. It was a free political advertisement. O’Hana is a political campaign hack. He doesn’t have principles. Anything he does or says is for self-interested reasons.

O’Hana made several other ignorant points in his endorsement of Clinton.

“Ignorant” implies that he didn’t realize he was talking nonsense. As I said, this was a compaign ad. He knew exactly what he was doing.

  10. Plugging their candidate. Given recent events, it’s a, um, fraught choice of phrase…

  11. That picture of Hillary…. she looks kinda like that Emperor Palpatine character from the Star Wars movie.

  12. In 1960, the Democrats had a campaign poster that featured a photo of Richard Nixon with the caption, “Would you buy a used car from this man?”

If the Democrats run Hillary Clinton in 2024, the Republicans can have campaign posters that feature that photo of Hillary with the caption, “Would you buy a bl0w j0b from this woman?”

    • Or “would you even need to consider an abortion if you lived with this woman”?

Oh, well, I doubt it’ll happen. If so- back to being deplorables again.

    • Apparently many did buy or got a freebie from the Cacklin’Clown, aka WordSaladkammie. That’s how she got to Washington in the first place.

  13. Mr Fudd: She probably bites so the answer is not no but hell no and a freebie is out of the question too.

  14. OMG can you imagine Hillary losing to The Don two times in a row? She/That/It would be taken away in a straightjacket!

    • There ain’t enough box wine on the planet for “Her” to drown “Her” sorrows after another loss to Trump.

  15. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter who the Democrat normally is whether it be Harris or someone else if they gain the Whitehouse in November, that is bad news for freedom for Americans and bad news for the world.

  16. Don’t forget there is a dark corner of the left that is still enamored with Hildabeast. Seems they like arrogant, angry, hateful women.
And Hildabeast might be willing to play second fiddle for a short while for Kameltoe Harris. Provided the deal is Kameltoe steps down shortly after being installed in office and Hildabeast gets her fondest wish of finishing the destruction started by Saint Barry.

  17. Slick Willie has continually worked diligently for Hillary’s election, imagining all those young interns in the WH, Hillary very busy, and no responsibilities for him. .

  18. … an unparalleled resume and an unmatched depth of experience.

She’s messed up every job she’s done.
