Not exactly sure what point the cartoonist is trying to make here. Does he think that people who choose to exercise their right to carry a gun do so out of fear? Does he think that everyone who carries openly wears camo and looks like whatever the left thinks a “gun nut” looks like? I don’t get it. But I don’t think I’m supposed to. Most Liberals I know look at those of us who aren’t in lockstep with them as illiterate extras from a remake of Deliverance. Most Lefties I know make jokes are none too funny, but only talk to each other, in a closed-loop ecosystem that allows them to take comfort in the idea that everyone around them believes the same things they do. Pity. The cartoonist can draw well. He just forgets that there needs to be a laugh in there somewhere.
