UCLA’s Professor Adam Winkler is an avid promoter of more infringements on the Second Amendment, though he would probably take issue with that phrasing. He would likely call it “more commonsense gun safety regulation.” Winkler is one of the better and clearer thinkers on the anti-gun side of the debate. I disagree with most of his premises, but he thinks strategically. Which is why I was surprised to see him take the view that NRA’s is doomed . . .

because of demographic changes in the country, as well as a potentially lowering crime rate.

In an opinion piece to the Washington Post, he made this argument:

Polls show that whites tend to favor gun rights over gun control by a significant margin (57 percent to 40 percent). Yet whites, who comprise 63 percent of the population today, won’t be in the majority for long. Racial minorities are soon to be a majority, and they are the nation’s strongest supporters of strict gun laws.

An overwhelming majority of African Americans say that gun control is more important than gun rights (72 percent to 24 percent). While the African American population shows signs of slow growth, other racial minority groups are growing more rapidly – and report even greater support for gun control.

The fastest-growing minority group in America is Latinos. Between 2000 and 2010, the nation’s Latino population grew by 43 percent. Hispanics, which make up 17 percent of the population today, are expected to grow to 30 percent of the population in the coming decades.

One of the primary tools in the leftist anti-gun agitprop arsenal is claiming that history is on their side, and that their eventual victory is pre-ordained. It’s strong moral support for the religion of the state and that’s what Winkler is engaged in here. But he’s whistling past the graveyard. He is deluding himself, or at least attempting to delude the common, uninformed leftist or low-information types.

The trends he mentions were more favorable for Second Amendment infringements in the previous 22 years, yet support for protecting the right to own and carry guns has increased nearly 50 percent in that period. From 1993 to 2015, support for the right to keep and bear arms went from 34% to about 50% in the total population.

Leftists engage in group think. They believe “group characteristics” are immutable, but they aren’t. Support for protection of the right to bear arms among black Americans, is only 24 percent now, but in 1993, it was 18%. That’s a 33% increase, and it is likely to keep rising. Oh, and from 1993 to 2015, the violent crime rate fell to nearly half of what it had been.

My assumptions about what is happening don’t rely on identity politics, but rather on the changes in where people obtain their information. From at least the middle 1960s, the information flow has been controlled by ideological “progressive” elitists that have pushed for ever more infringements on the Second Amendment. With the repeal of the “Fairness Doctrine” and the rise of the Internet, that oligopoly on information flow has been fractured. The high water mark for increasingly stringent restrictions on gun ownership and sales was 1993.

The left and the media cartel can no longer set the terms of the debate on what’s important about the access to defensive weapons in America. The information revolution reached those most concerned first. Most gun owners at the time were white males. That same information about guns is now reaching women and minorities, both of which have fast-growing numbers of gun owners.

The desire to disarm the population is strong among government and media elites. But the desire for self defense is stronger, innate, and hard to program out of people, unless you have full control of the education system, the media, and the culture. All of those venues are now being contested by advocates of limited government.

The future is up for grabs, and gun grabbers aren’t pre-ordained to win.

  1. Adam Winkler: The NRA is Doomed!

Here, let me translate this for you Adam.

    The Constitution is Doomed.

There we are. The true heart of the matter.

    • Why do think I support reducing legal immigration to pre 1965 levels and limits.

Time to stop importing large numbers of people that suppress our wages, create and exacerbate crime, terrorism, and welfare, and effect our elections as to reduce our Liberty.

      • B…b…but, if we try and do that, people will call us racists. The last thing in the world anybody wants is to be called names, so we have no choice but to witness and subsidize our own demographic replacement and eventual genocide.

        • The days are counting down to a terrorist attack on level with 9/11. The left set up 9/11 with their let everyone in ideology. The learned nothing from that attack. We already know that known terrorists have been allowed in as refugees. Mark my words, they are already planning an horrific attack that could be even worse than 9/11. When it happens, the Democrat party will be destroyed. However, I would prefer we stop the coming attack and let the Democrats take a little longer to destroy themselves with their over the top rhetoric like what caused the Bernie Sanders supporting terrorist to try and assassinate Republicans last week. There will be other wacko Democrat/Socialist terrorist attacks coming and it will all be traced back to the hostile, violence laced rhetoric of the Left.

  2. Another attempt by the left to play the race card and draw a line between whites and non whites. At the firing line yesterday, there were at least half a dozen non whites who were enjoying throwing lead downrange.

    Signed, non-white NRA member.

  3. >They believe “group characteristics” are immutable

Which is ironic, since they accuse US of being racist.

    • Ironic, but completely understandable, since no one is more deeply racist than a dedicated leftist.

    • Projection. Remember, they believe they are the chosen ones that are better and smarter than everyone else, therefore everyone that is rational thinks exactly like them, everyone that does not think like them is a barbarian that has not seen the light of the enlightenment.

    • Yeah didn’t the worlds (I mean the US) view on gay marriage change in like just 10 years. I’d say there has been a shift on women rights as well.

And oh how ironically, I’d imagine there are more than a few reading this that can remember when blacks weren’t even allowed in the same public accommodations as whites.

So yeah, views change. It’s up to everybody reading this to do their part into showing people of all walks that liberty is something worthwhile.

  4. Opinions are not fixed and immutable. All it takes to change an opinion is an “it should have been a DGU event” happening to you or someone close. Winkler is expressing the kind of “history is on our side” attitude that is common to all Progressives

We are letting criminals out in the street and creating conditions where the police stop policing. Crime is going to start increasing nationwide soon. That is going to change attitudes in a hurry.

    • “It’s not ‘Progressive’ as in ‘Progress’ but ‘Progressive’ as in ‘Cancer’.”
      ~SteveInCO

    • “Crime is going to start increasing nationwide soon.”
Correction: Crime will get worse in the large urban centers with few legally-owned guns.

The divide between rural and urban America will widen, as urban dwellers cement their fallacious belief that what’s happening around them is happening everywhere, and insist it’s a nationwide problem rather than an urban problem caused by too many decades of liberal ideas.

    • I think you’re right about the coming increase in crime — it’s a natural result of what our leftist institutions and “progressive” social movements have been doing over the last few years.

However, I’m not sure it’s going to be a come-to-Jesus moment for the right to keep and bear arms in general. It could also be a cue for renewed government infringement. And there are a lot of people who will welcome that false sense of security. Heck, they’ll curl up in a ball and beg for it.

The one big difference in our favor, as Dean pointed out, is that the leftist anti-gun cartel doesn’t have a monopoly on information anymore. We need to be vigilant, because they’re starting to realize the ground is crumbling beneath them, and the end justifies the means for these people. They’re sneaky bastards, and they’ll get even nastier as they get more desperate.

  5. I don’t see as much challenge to blind statism in schools and universities. Yes, a few are speaking out. But, if anything the leftists have made advances in the education system, and there’s no indication yet of a turn in the other direction. Until we break the power of the teachers unions, it will be difficult to win ground there. And, since the public school teachers unions are exactly what they accuse the NRA of being in terms of purchasing influence in DC, the Dems will fight like cornered weasels against school choice.

    • Yes in the system we aren’t seeing as much change.

However, I have seen more home schoolers and private school students. Fewer people going into the indoctrination system

    • The school system is going to get worse ever since they gave the inmates the keys to the jail. The changes in the tenure system ensure students can get teachers fired for teaching a difficult class. While the tenure system had issues these changes are simply stupid. How educators can be so dumb is amazing. Out of four of the teacher friends I have talked to recently all four were looking for a new position at a different school before this school year started. Teachers lost their security, now it will be even more like daycare with a shortage of qualified employees and constant turnover.

      • ” . . . The changes in the tenure system ensure students can get teachers fired for teaching a difficult class. While the tenure system had issues these changes are simply stupid. . .”

Well, said. Unfortunately, most people outside academia don’t understand just how tenure exists as a way to protect the very knowledge on which genuine educations depend. The public also doesn’t understand how the traditional academic community, traditionally a community of scholars who were hired based on their competence in their field, has been deformed by administrative interference and politicization.

Where the faculties of academic departments once hired and supervised their own colleagues, most academic teaching posts are determined by administrators who’s agendas—affirmative action, sustainability, political alignments, and such—are more important than choosing someone who is highly competent. I’ve served on numerous search committees where the fifth or sixth choice, someone with the right gender, race, or ethnicity, is chosen over far better qualified candidates. This has been going on so long that a critical mass of poorly educated, not very competent “professors” exists on every campus. Scholarship is a pale shadow of what it once was. Education suffers because of this. I’m glad I’m no longer there.

    • They are, actually (or at least which rights will be respected is determined, rather than the rights themselves). It just takes a sufficiently large majority.

In fact, if you look at how many states it takes to amend the Constitution, and then look at total combined population of various possible combinations of states, you’ll see that it’s actually possible to amend the Constitution with less than 50% of popular vote, if it’s concentrated in the right states.

      • Fortunately, those states have the lowest levels of people who support rabid gun control civilian disarmament.

If you combine all the less populated states, you could find 3/4 of the states to support a Constitutional Amendment with well less than 50% of the population. Remember, we only need concurrence from 38 states for a Constitutional amendment which means 12 states could dissent. Just these 9 states alone, which comprise well more than 50% of the population, could dissent to no avail: California, Illinois, Texas, Michigan, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio total about 163 million people — more than half of the United States’ population of 319 million.

      • That’s part of the beauty of the system. Their is a balance between Insividual and States rights. We see that in the 9th and 10th Amendments witch recognize each, respectively. It keeps the populous mob of a few bug Stated from imposing their will on the rest.

It’s also a big reason, I believe, why progressives got the 17th Amendment 100 years ago. Reduces the power of the States and gets us a step closer to mob rule.

    • I agree – immigrants are fleeing to this country in record numbers, mostly illegally. Those immigrants are from countries were private ownership of firearms is severely if not out rightly restricted. They constitute the demographics in this article that are opposed to gun ownership and for some reason, they seek to turn this country into the ones they left. The demographic that fought to free this country from tyranny is rapidly being replaced by demographics that have no concept of earning their freedom. The stole it outright or inherited it from those that did.

  6. If history does repeat itself, as I believe, the fall of the NRA will lead to the fall of all other pro-2nd amendment organizations which will lead to the fall of the 2nd amendment which will lead to tyranny which will lead to the next American Revolution. Did I leave anything out? Anyhow, it is amazing to me how stupid academia has become in our country. They seem to have this belief that somehow everyone in America, the unenlightened, are going to give up their freedoms, fall down on their knees, and follow their every command.

    • “Foolish liberals who are trying to read the Second Amendment out of the Constitution by claiming it’s not an individual right or that it’s too much of a public safety hazard don’t see the danger in the big picture. They’re courting disaster by encouraging others to use the same means to eliminate portions of the Constitution they don’t like.”
~Alan Morton Dershowitz; “The Conceptual Foundations of Anglo-American Jurisprudence in Religion and Reason”, Tennessee Law Review. Vol. 62, No. 3, 1995, p. 759

    • No Second American Revolution is going to get started over gun rights being gradually squashed. If the popular support is for such laws then the popular support would be against any such revolution, and attempting such a revolution would be foolhardy anyhow. The most likely outcome would be the creation of a Soviet-style dictatorship and the destruction of the greatest republic in the history of the world.

    • Bull. It’ll go away without a whimper and you know it. What’s gonna happen, are people gonna grab their guns and, what, march somewhere? Yell at someone? Complain to each other? There’s certainly not gonna be some kind of mass uprising. You don’t real believe that do you?
DGMW, I’m on your side, but I just don’t see anything cataclysmic happening. Sorry.

      • We should be absolutely compliant if such comes to pass. Everyone pack up your guns and head for DC and NYC to turn them in, say 50 million to each city. When traffic comes to a stop, set your parking brake and lock your doors and carry your guns on foot from there. Once everybody is on the lawn of the white house or congress, or in central park, ask for a clarification of the laws.

  7. My best shooting buddy is a black guy and there were several of my coworkers at my last employer that use to come with us shooting and some of them were black. Of the population of techs I worked with, the black guys were statistically more likely to be shooters.

    • There are numbers of Blacks as well as black couples that shoot at my indoor range. Aren’t Blacks and women among the fastest growing demos for shooting?

    • I believe that to be one of the failings of MR Winkler’s argument. Immigrants are pouring into the country seeking a higher level of freedom than they were experiencing in their home countries. It’s only natural that these same freedom-loving immigrants will start taking advantage of the constitutionally protected freedoms that drew them to our nation in the first place, i.e. the 2nd Amendment. People and cultures do not stay stagnant. Statistics today are not those of tomorrow. South American Hispanics are just as likely to embrace the 2A as were our forefathers who protected those freedoms through the Bill of Rights.

Case in point: I grew up in a Democratic family. My parents were both democrats and their children, for the most part, embraced that same philosophy. Up until I reached adulthood I also considered myself to be a “progressive”. I quickly came to realize that those ideals were contrary to my beliefs. Now I consider myself to be a Republican conservative and many of my nieces and nephews have evolved to the same or a similar conclusion. My father owned two firearms (despite his military membership in the 1940’s) and rarely took them out of the closet. In contrast I and my family own several (or a few, depending on your perception) and spend as much time as we reasonably can (much less than I would wish) on the range.

      People evolve.

  8. Since when did our rights become based on the opinions of whichever group or race was in the majority?

  9. So what if the NRA is doomed? It’s a convenient straw man for them to attack and nothing more, unless all 100million (by their estimates) gun owners in America die or disappear overnight they still aren’t going to be able to get anything done. There is no other issue/cause/demographic group that even comes close to 100million. Heck even if 50% support infringements that’s still 50million people who don’t. That doesn’t go away and more importantly the money from that doesn’t go away, if the NRA falls, you have SAF, GOA et al who will expand to fill the space. The NRA isn’t just a lobby group like Big Tobacco, it is the public front of a very large segment of the US population. So fine let them tear their little straw man to pieces thinking they are “doing something”. Go ahead and kick that 100million strong hornets nest.

    • Import 20+million 3rd world turds and there you go.

Strange how the progtards understand letting in 20M in 10years but it is impossible to export (deport) the same #.

“Mr/Mrs illegal be gone from the US within 6 months or you will be deported/resettled. To Iraq/Afganstan. Sam will arm you so you can interact with the ISIS POS”. 15M armed Central American “Catholics” in settlements in the Mideast would do great things. And less expensive for the US than keeping them in the US.

  10. it seems to me based on anecdotal evidence (just looking around at people instead of up my own butt) that there are more and more mixed race marriages, “Hispanics” are becoming mainstream in the US culture at least as quickly as Italians did a couple of generations ago, and soon enough it will be difficult, if not impossible, for anyone to play the race card. Numerous articles from all sorts of political persuasions mention that if certain elements in the Republican party would stop playing the anti-Mexican card, the rest of the Republican platform is much more in keeping with traditionally Hispanic values. As others have said, I see plenty of non-white people at the ranges I go to. Wonder how wet Mr. Winkler’s would have gotten if he had seen the young black man showing a couple of young black women how to shoot an AK-47? (The ladies had a great time with it.)

    • In this country, every time some ethnic, religious or racial group was assimilated to the point of being generally accepted, there was always another to fill the pariah sit. Well, except for Blacks, who seem to be resigned to it in perpetuity.

So in 50 years it won’t be Mexicans, but maybe Canadians, or refugees from the independent Republic of Texas, or whatever.

  11. Actually he really is correct. The Democrats have pushed to keep tens of millions of illegal aliens in this country. They have set up sanctuary cities to keep them inside their states. The net effect is that as this population grows in blue regions, it increases the census population of those states and thus increases their Electoral College representatives. This is why conservatives will continue to have a harder time getting elected to the White House.

    • I did a lot of business in Mexico back in the day before the cartels took over. I found the folks there to be nice, friendly, family-oriented types — with really good food. I never needed a contract to do business with them, just a handshake (although, as a lawyer, I always wrote up everything). The well-to-do Mexicans owned guns, because with money, all things were possible in Mexico.

If all the Mexican border jumpers were like those folks I worked with back in Old Mexico, we would be very happy about them. Unfortunately, I’m not sure that they are. We seem to be receiving far too many Mexican “Marielitos,” if you understand the reference.

    • “Has anyone on this blog worked with Mexican’s? If so what are your observations?”

I’ve sold many guns to migrant farm workers at the pawn&gun shops I’ve worked at here in Florida over the years.

The Mexican migrant farm workers were polite, enjoyed bartering the price down, paid cash and their children were very well-behaved.

Much better behaved than the vast majority of all other poor people.

A pleasure to have as customers.

  12. That’s some serious projected bigotry, wrapped in ex hoc ergo propter hoc logical fallacy.

And this guy is supposed to be one of the gun-grabbers’ better thinkers?

  13. He’s right and that’s why someone who will do something about the illegal immigrant problem needs to be elected to high office. If a Democrat wins amnesty and citizenship will be granted to millions of Mexicans.

Contrary to popular belief, they are not “natural conservatives.” They are natural socialists and this doesn’t lessen. They remain that way even after a few generations.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4u1J6EEhkyM

The data is all out there.

  14. Democrats and liberals have achieved astounding success over the last 40-50 years in changing the core principles of this country. They’ve done it by subverting the education system, turning the mass media into a propaganda machine, and by politicizing government bureaucracies. We used to have a strong American culture that caused immigrants to assimilate over time. People used to come here because of the opportunities presented by that culture. We now have uncontrolled immigration, and these new immigrants don’t have to, or don’t want to adopt traditional American ways, rather, they expect us to accommodate them. People coming here from Mexico or most other countries are used to authoritarian governments run by corrupt, highly centralized bureaucracies, and they have absolutely no concept of Constitutional republicanism..and there’s no let up in sight. Hell, we don’t even teach our own citizens Civics anymore. I wish it weren’t so, but I am not sanguine about the continued existence of the United States I loved as a kid.

California used to be a low tax, fairly conservative place until starting in the Sixties large numbers of East Coasters came and proceeded to turn California into the sort of rat hole they wanted to escape in the first place. The same is happen to the country as a whole.

    • @nynemillameetuh: Not sure if you are being facetious or not ? What exactly is “White” ? My background is Europoean with a mixture of Native American and a few other origins. The term “White” means nothing. Many Hispanic People look “White” as do some people from South America, Russia and other parts of the world. Not only is making America “White” again impossible but it makes NO sense. We will eventually be a mixed race and we are already made up of mixed ethnic backgrounds. What IS important is that the concept of Freedom and the strict adherence to our Constitution and The Bill of Rights. That must be what we all focus on to remain free. Skin color and/or where we come from has nothing to do with it and those ideas move us all away from real solutions.

      • Being a European mutt is not the same as being as being mixed with non-Europeans. This country was founded and is still sustained by Americans of European descent. Remove them from the picture and you don’t have a United States of America anymore. We had enough diversity as it was before the disastrous 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act pushed by gun-grabbing Ted Kennedy was passed.

As for “white” it is an artificial construct our enemy uses to label all of us “privileged” Americans of European descent. They don’t care whether you’re Polish, Italian, German, English, or whatever. They hate you because you have light skin and because they want more gibsmedats for their constituents.

      • America’s greatness was built by European men, primarily of English and Scots-Irish descent.

I’ve noticed that the gushy, starry-eyed libertarian/basic republican view of the founders relies on downplaying or denying their views on ethnicity altogether, which is nonsensical.

“White” people are the only ones who care about the founders’ principles to any significant degree. They like political freedom. Everyone else values free stuff over such lofty concepts.

      • Why is it that only Northwest Europeans seem to have the values that lead to countries with freedom and high trust, the only environment where libertarianism can live?
A majority of this group is surely needed to retain these same cultural values.

        • Why is it that only Northwest Europeans seem to have the values that lead to countries with freedom and high trust, the only environment where libertarianism can live?

And wasn’t it such enlightened, libertarian-minded Northwest Europeans from whom the founders of our country had to flee, in order to seek out their freedom?

        • And wasn’t it such enlightened, libertarian-minded Northwest Europeans from whom the founders of our country had to flee, in order to seek out their freedom?

The founders of our country meaning the founding fathers, correct? They didn’t flee. They fought the forces of the Crown and were supported by liberty-lovers in the British Parliament. So your statement doesn’t make much sense.

        • Why is it that only Northwest Europeans seem to have the values that lead to countries with freedom and high trust, the only environment where libertarianism can live?

The real question is why Northwest Europeans have abandoned those values and embraced liberty-ending and trust-destroying socialism to destroy libertarianism.

        • Guess which are some of the most economically free countries in Europe?

          Lithuania and Estonia.

Now check the map as to where they are.

  15. Listen, The Fonz can sit there and preach his anti-gun doomsday scenarios all he likes, the rest of us will keep buying guns and ammo. Stupid Fonzie.

  16. But those evil white folks participate and spend $-record new NRA membership since I’ve been involved(4 years). I is cute he recognizes things are changing-I often see lots of black folks and women(and a smattering of spanglish) at the local gunshops. Clueless idiot…

  17. If Winky-Dink is correct about the demographic shift putting more pressure on gun rights, then we will push back even harder. Expect a lot more people to join the NRA, swelling its ranks to ten million or more — and then let’s see who has the hammer.

  18. Remove “welfare” from the welfare state and they’ll all go back to Mexico. Free benefits is why they are here and continue to arrive. Free benefits is why they vote for communist/socialist policies (i.e. The Democratic Party). Don’t get me wrong – it’s not that I’m anti-Hispanic, it’s that I’m anti state forced charity for subsidizing the Hispanics by means of redistributing wealth. I have plenty of Hispanic friends that are educated like me, trade their time and efforts for money like me, and don’t expect a handout. Those are my kind of people.

    • Exactly. That’s why liberal ravings about the futility of “rounding up 11 million illegals”, which nobody in high office actually suggested doing, is nonsense.
All you have to di is reverse the incentives.

No more welfare, no more free schooling, no licenses, no access into American society, and the leeches will self-deport. Then we can focus on common sense immigration reform centered on attracting and retaining STEM-educated individuals and foreigners with capital to invest.

  19. Wresting control of the Public Warehouse System from the government and teachers unions is key. The statists rely on a sickeningly cynical paradigm:

On the one hand, they need to preserve enough opportunity in the country so that a motivated, determined and talented minority of people will succeed and continue generating wealth. They don’t want to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs and allows us to be a rich country.

However, they want simultaneously to deprive the masses of education and opportunities that would ween them off of permanent generational dependency upon government, and reliance on statists as dividers and dispensers of the nation’s wealth. They don’t want too many people improving their lot such that they don’t need government handouts.

The latter half of this two pronged approach requires schools to serve dual roles as warehouses providing no serious instruction to most students, while indoctrinating all students with a sense of entitlement, anger, envy, and submission to government as master.

The statists conveniently cause the problems, then set themselves up as perpetual saviors. They constantly promise solutions to problems that never get solved and forever need saviors. If they control the schools today, they can control the electorate’s ideology tomorrow.

  20. Immigration and Education.

I’ve been noting these here and elsewhere for a long time. All the anti-Constitution people have to do is control these and wait for the rest of us to die off. If we don’t fight on these fronts – and especially education – we won’t win.

  21. He’s right.

Whites used to comprise about 90% of the American population during 1960. But thanks to the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 (lobbied for by Jewish groups for decades), now over 1 million non-Whites are legally immigrating to the USA annually. And that figure doesn’t even include illegal immigration which numbers in the hundreds of thousands annually. And the “immigration reforms” that you’ve probably heard about in the news over the last several years seek to increase the number of non-Whites allowed to legally immigrate to the USA to a whopping 3+ million annually – that’s the population of a small country.

The result? White children are now racial minorities in America; Whites are already minorities in about half of our major cities; and Whites of all ages only comprise about 60% of the American population. And by around 2060, Whites will only comprise about 30% of the American population.

    From 90% to 30% in 100 years…

And since about 85% of non-Whites vote Democrat in Presidential elections, it’s only a matter of time before the Republican Party is completely annihilated by this non-White demographic tsunami that’s slowly sweeping across America (and the larger White Western world). And with the death of White America and the Republican Party, so too will gun rights also get completely rolled back.

So, knowing this, you’d think that the Republican Party, conservatives in general, and the NRA would be demanding for a dramatic reduction in both legal and illegal immigration, but they’re so terrified of being viewed as anti-immigrant racists that they mostly focus on bashing illegal immigration while simultaneously saying that they support dramatically increasing legal immigration. That’s their “solution” to this demographic jihad that’s being waged against them: making it easier for illegal immigrants to come here legally. Freaking morons…

They’re so obsessed with adhering to the politically correct position of pretending to be colorblind that they simply don’t have the spine to stand up for their own racial interests. As a result, White America is on its deathbed – and so is the Second Amendment.

But make sure to delete my comment and ban me for daring to state these ugly racial truths. By doing so, you’ll only further prove that this website is run by Jews and White cuckservatives. And don’t any of you dare point out that Adam Winkler is also almost certainly Jewish. We White people need to regrow our balls and stop getting spit roasted by Jews on the Left and Right.

  22. Winkler’s analysis makes sense: urbanization, the changing ethnic composition of the US, and the way different ethnic groups view gun ownership may alter the gun debate in the US, and pretty soon too. It is entirely possible that some day the NRA will be forced to switch into the mode of trying to manage decline more than anything else. And then there’s Bloomberg and his referenda, as well as the growing leftward tilt among the affluent and the rich – there’s real money behind gun control now where there was hardly any even 3 years ago.

The thing is, what does one do with this analysis? Does one just give up?
