Spent part of the morning at the Rodale Institute plant sale; All organic. Purchased starter plants for our veggie garden. There was a farmer there selling beef, pork, and chicken. All organic. He says to my wife and I, “You are really a patriotic couple”. She had on her 1776 T-shirt and I was wearing my ‘These colors don’t run’ t- shirt and a ‘Trump Won’ button on my Stetson. The farmer then says, “You are not going to be very popular here”, referring to Rodale’s reputation as a leftard bastion.
I admitted we were getting more than a few hostile stares. He said “I’m with you, but when I am here, I keep quiet”.
We bought 10 pounds of ground beef and 5 pounds of bacon. Also got his business card and asked about visiting the farm. That makes 4 local farmers with whom we are cultivating a relationship.

Apparently he ate too many twinkies.
He blamed it all on eating too much junk food. Which became known as the “Twinkies defense”.
But because of the libertarian liberal and leftist created laws, this double murderer was given only 6 years in prison. All because the Three L’s believe there are too many people being locked up in jails and prisons in California.
Personally I believe Dan White should have been executed by the state of California for murdering two people.

As well as two carved Twinkies snack cakes at the statue base. City residents were very upset with this statue. And it was soon rejected for public display.
