Attorney General Eric Holder has made his opening statement before the House Judiciary Committee. Eric reckons criticisms of the DOJ re: the murder of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry are all about “scoring political points” and “gotcha games.” From there, it’s down the rabbit hole. “The Department has been fully cooperative,” claims the man whose department had to withdraw a letter to Congress claiming ignorance of Operation Fast and Furious, redacted thousands of pages of evidence and continues to withhold evidence from the Committee. Representative Issa is ripping Eric a new orifice. Click here to watch live.

  1. This dissembling statement was pregnant with an admission. In order for the tactics to be “misguided,” they had to be guided by someone’s poor judgment. So, Holder, who did the “guiding?”

    • “not a single state requires identification to purchase ammunition, ”

      Um, yes, they do.

I love when people complain about guns and whatever else going across the border. How about protecting the border then? durrr…

The link above leads to Michelle Bachmann talking about kid’s poor education at a GOP Jewish convention and not to Issa ripping Holder apart.

  3. Last I checked, killing innocent people (yes that includes federal law enforcement officers and Mexican nationals) was illegal.

  4. I need some help re: a recent ATF sting operation in florida (Operation Smoking Gun II). Maybe AG Holder can be a witness (hostile) about trickery and deception, and agent illegal activities being some of the misguided tactics? I’m totally serious by the way. My son is involved.
