Personally, I would have cleared the Beretta Nano on camera before pulling the trigger—never mind the striker de-activation button. Swappable sights! How great is that? Seriously, does that matter? The Italian owned gunmaker’s priced the .40 caliber bastard child of Mr. and Mrs. Glock XD at $475. That’s a bit more than a subcompact .40 Glock 27 ($430-ish) and considerably less than an XD .40 Subcompact ($520-ish). But you can’t put a price on cool. Allegedly. Nine mm to follow.
It looks like a sweet little pistol, but the Massachusetts version (if there ever is one) with it’s boat anchor trigger will be impossible to shoot properly.
I’ll give them a year to work out the kinks and then I’ll definitely buy one.
Looks like a winner. I love my Beretta U22 Neos. I carry a 9mm Walther PPS daily and love it but this looks a little smaller. I’ll have to give it a lookey-loo when it shows up in the stores.
Hm. I’d buy one in .45 or 10mm. Or perhaps one in each. Hopefully they’ll follow with additional calibers.
I wouldn’t want anything that size chambered in anything larger than 9mm without ports and/or a steel frame.
The Glock 29/30 handle them just fine.
The Glock 29/30 is a lot bigger
They designed the gun with .40 as its native caliber. I’m sure it will run just fine.
i don’t know about the gun, but that video is horrible.
It looks like it might be a good little pistol. Question though, is the only way to lock back the slide is to have an empty magazine inserted?
I’ll bet that some enterprising fellow will start manufacturing and selling externally-manipulable slide lock levers — from what I saw in the video, it looked like the slide lock was at exposed on the exterior of the pistol, but that it doesn’t extend beyond the side frame. Worst case you could probably bubba it up by tapping a few screw holes in it and mounting a chunk of some kind of metal on the outside.
I’m not fond of either Ruger’s or Kel-Tec’s offerings and the Walther PPS and Sig P290 seem a bit over priced for what one’s getting.
There seems to be hugh market for a single stack 9mm.
Wonder what S&W has in the works.
S&W HAVE THE BODYGUARD….
As far as the nano goes, a little overpriced for me/../
The bodyguard line currently only has models in .38 and .380.
9x17mm =/= 9x19mm.
According the the video and the website, the Nano was DEVELOPED first in .40, but initial release is going to be 9mm
Yep. I’m waiting for the .40
Does it have a magazine disconnect?
Does any body know if they will be coming out in california? I might consider moving for this one lol
this is usa so speak American.. or leave.
Speak “American” ?? or leave.
The language is English, and the country is one with freedom as it’s corner stone.
The guy writing in Spanish may very well speak the English language better than you do.
Where is the .40 cal???? I only use .40 cal and hate the 9mm. When is this coming? They should have both calibers available.
Why do you hate 9mm? What did it ever do to you?
It’s not what the 9mm did to me it’s what it won’t do to the other guy. Stopping power is just that; stopping power. Nonetheless, it is all about target acquisition and control. But I assume responsible owners practice and master this on their own which brings me back to best ‘bang’ for the buck…better stopping power.
Is the beretta nano for sale in mass? Or is it illegal in mass?
Nicely done, you proved your point, I’m sold on the NANO… After maxing-out on NANO vids, I believe it’s a winner… I will wait a few more months as I keep abreast of the NANO, today, I am satisfied and on the edge to purchase one… As with all things, time will tell…
