Heather isn’t just attractive hired help for EAA. She’s one of their two models who provide auto parts calendar type images for gun guys to drool over. We’d say it’s working.

    Having wanted to comment on the TTAG “Increasing Diversity in the Gun Owners’ Ranks” (my summary title from memory) post, but not getting a chance until today I can no longer find it. However, as both a 4H Archery Instructor and the Membership Chairperson for my local archery club, that is an important topic for me. The 4H ranks have plenty of young women. Our club’s membership? Not so much. What happens? Where do they go? I wish I knew.

    However, having covered and been around conventions, the Archery Trade Association (ATA) for instance, I could never really see where covering “Booth Babes” was conducive to increasing participation in our sports or blogs or changing the notion that we are just a bunch of OFWGs…

    Possibly giving equal coverage for booth “hunks” would do it?
