CORRECTION: I tried to line up what appeared to be a trio of gas rings that were set in place in their usual position on the backside of this AR-10’s bolt. What looked like three rings in fact turned out to be one continuous ring that was wrapped around the bolt with three turns. Bottom line is that no gas ring alignment is required on the AR-10 as it is with the AR-15 series of weapons, which employ three individual gas rings to keep the seal tight between the chamber and the backside of the bolt in the BCG. That is all. C
