This teaser video introduces Map Ives, Botswana’s head of rhino conservation. Mr. Ives reveals that he gave up hunting in 1983 after noticing disappearing wildlife. CNN’s Bill Weir finishes the thought: “But since his country banned hunting here the animals have relaxed and multiplied.” Yes, well, back in March 2014, survivalinternational.com reported that “Botswana’s President Khama has banned all hunting nationwide, even for Bushmen who hunt to feed their families – but an exception is being made . . .
“…for trophy hunters paying up to $8,000 to hunt giraffes and zebras. Wealthy tourists are being invited to travel to Botswana to hunt big game on private ranches that have been exempted from the ban. But Bushmen from Botswana’s Central Kalahari Game Reserve, who have hunted with spears, bows and arrows for millennia, are being arrested, beaten and jailed for subsistence hunting.” A fact that CNN’s anti-hunting propaganda fails to mention.
Do not allow facts to get in the way of an agenda

Ok Bart, you’re finished with sentences now.
I have often said CNN is in cahoots with radical animal rights groups and has a very anti -hunting and anti-rural agenda.Nothing worse then a radical animal rights retard.
Substance hunting should be considered a basic right of man.
Denying traditional tribal hunters this right should especially be considered a human rights violation.
Sounds good to me.
The Bushmen ought to have the right to drive off all non-Bushmen Botswanians on their rightful land…
Poor people being beaten, arrested, and jailed for trying to live by subsistence hunting goes against the narrative. Along with hunting in areas exempt from the ban. They just can not mention thaese facts, or any for that matter.
I’ll leave this here…..

What I find even more funny, the folks who insist on a photo only safari. Polluting the area, getting animals used to constant human presence.
Then they go back to the lodges for dinner. Just what do they think they are eating?
Tofu and kale ?????
Soylent green?
In African countries that have banned all hunting (which CNN wants) poachers paid off corrupt African Officials to look the other way so they could annihilate all of the game animals for profit. It was only the Safari Clubs that previously kept watch over their allotted hunting blocks who prevented poaching, not the under-funded game wardens who were assigned to protect wild game.
It comes and goes and in waves. When the big bad predators finally over populate the game areas they will come looking for tasty treats in the towns and villages.
I agree with everyone who says it is unfair to the indigenous people. To show our support we should eliminate Indian Reservations and let these people live as they did prior to the invasions from Europe. Uninfringed.
Eliminate their welfare programs? The horror!
Ypu mean Dean, along with the traditional activities of many tribes of raiding, raping, pillaging, and plundering with the kidnapping of woman and children to used and sold for slaves and the torturing to death of the men captives?
Yep all the same shit every color of man has done whether its red, yellow, brown, black or white. At least u white skins have a reason. The all mighty Jesus Christ allows the murder of non whites because the rest are godless heathens right? Go find the klan meeting u fucking redneck.
Yes but the whiteskins tend to actually IMPROVE the places they pillage. When is the last time the rainbow coalition did that? Babylon? I’m sorry, but you do do not speak for all of us. I myself am rather fond of the evil white man and his sinister enlightment values, and quite prefer them to the savage world of my ancestors.
Ah yes, improvement. “We’re here from the (French/English/Spanish) govt and were here to help!

GREAT SCOTT! CNN is lying. Sarc/
They don’t lie, they merely leave out pertinent facts that may negatively affect their wishful delusions.
μολὼν λαβέ
Yes, well their lips were moving after all.
“Botswana’s President Khama has banned all hunting nationwide, even for Bushmen who hunt to feed their families…”
Wait, I thought only evil Western Imperialists destroyed indigenous cultures. Clearly CNN needs to craft their narrative better to fit The Narrative.
Thank God for CNN.
Thanks for the advice on credit repair on your blog. Things i would tell people should be to give up the actual mentality they will buy today and shell out later. Like a society we all tend to try this for many issues. This includes getaways, furniture, and items we really want to have. However, you have to separate a person’s wants from the needs. When you are working to raise your credit score make some sacrifices. For example you’ll be able to shop online to save cash or you can visit second hand merchants instead of high priced department stores for clothing.|
