To call TTAG commentator CUJO DOG OF WAR prolific would be like calling Peter North sexually experienced. CUJO’s remarks are plenty pithy and on-subject (lightbulb discussion aside), but if you placed his comments end-to-end they’d stretch to the Voyager 1 space probe’s current position and back. In the interests of distracting a founding member of our Armed Intelligentsia, I’ve put CUJO in charge of our otherwise neglected Facebook page. The moment I gave CUJO the keys he put the pedal to the metal—posting more in one hour than we’ve done in the last month. To avoiding flooding your Facebook wall, I’ve asked CUJO to dial it back to one post every two hours. Meanwhile, please tell the Facebook newbie CUJO what you’d like to see on our FB page. And what you don’t want to see. Thanks.
Thank you, I look forward to it. I just have to learn to move a bit more like a politician and less like a hard charging Soldier! It is very kind of Robert to occupy some of my overly abundant down time. It helps me to stay busy and feel a part of something again! Today is the first day in a month that I have been able to leave my house, minus a grocery store trip. I’m going straight to the range and to also look at 1911’s. Bless you all and the good doctor who started me on pain management. I bet you wish you could get a permanent script for morphine! (Just kidding) Thanks guys! Cujo
Rock on, Cujo!
Second that!
P.S. After we discussed importance of light bulbs, we should discuss more important practical AND tactical gear… toilet rolls! 😀
CUJO, you animal! Do it!
Cujo – write me at sappha58 [at] gmail [dot] com.
you da man Cujo!
We want to see a pic of Cujo’s grossly-salivating, toothy snarl (while holding a gun of course)
Will do.
Congrats Cujo. Seems like a good fit … So, what’s the background to the “bleeding target” discussion? Why was that brought up?
I recently discovered $80 “Bleeding Zombie” torso targets. One is Ex Girlfriend, one is an Osama -like Terrorist, and I think there are 4 or 5 more. I found them at Ammo To Go.com. FPS Russia is using them in the IGOTD FPS Russia #6 post here. Only difference was, he put Tannerite in the heads. I’m thinking of trying one out-see if can last a while, and if so get more. I think that one would be awesome for a little Jeet Kune Do machete work! I’ll let y’all know how they work. Don’t be thinking I’m getting soft ’cause I showed you guys my feelings and all that crap, now! Thanks guys. Off to shoot!
Sorry, but I am unfollowing TTAG on Facebook due to this change and I suspect others might do the same.
It’s not so much the quantity of posts, but the quality. Most of the posts are completely irrelevant to me and not in line with the type of information typically presented on TTAG.
While I’m sure he is a fine writer and a knowledgeable firearms enthusiast, I have no interest in following the random musings of his wandering mind. Some of the trivial posts he made left me wondering what the point was.
My suggestion to you:
Your Facebook page should be representative of your website, not an individual writer. Please use it only to announce new articles posted on TTAG (there is a WordPress plugin that can automate this for you) and important TTAG related info.
I appreciate your concern and understand your decision. As the post above states, and CUJO acknowledges, his early posting enthusiasm was OTT. The man’s got the message. One post every two hours. Call me in the morning.
I believe that TTAG’s Facebook page should not simply be another RSS feed. Each of these web deals has its own gestalt. And I don’t have the time to attend to all of them in their own special way.
I reckon CUJO will master the Facebook genre whilst keeping the faith with TTAG branding. Watch that space. If you can.

+1. Use the medium to drive the audience back here.
CUJO will find a balance, I have no doubt. I’ve enjoyed his two submissions and look forward to his future reviews. Two more than I have done. And CUJO, if you look at the FB posts from just 6 hours ago, there are several on ammunition choices with price. When combined, those might have made a fine blog in and of itself. So next time, combine, submit and when posted link back to FB.

Not ‘just’ one, but could link us back here when new articles are published.
Good call. Yes, “plenty pithy and on-subject” but also entertaining most of the time.
The metaphor. Could of done way better.
I noticed that the FB page is getting more active. You’ll see my real name more frequently now.
Thanks again guys! I do believe I got their attention. I didn’t even have to show a human sacrifice or anything…guess I’ll have to let that drifter go.
