Shooting deaths of police up 78 percent this year; ‘troubling’ to memorial fund – “In the wake of targeted attacks on police officers this summer in Dallas and in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the analysis of law enforcement deaths across the country shows that the 32 firearms-related deaths recorded as of July 20 account for nearly half of the 67 line-of-duty deaths reported by police agencies, with ambushes comprising 14 of the fatal shootings. The fatalities are still well below the rates of officer deaths in the 1970s, when the number of firearms-related fatalities peaked in 1973 with 156 officers. But Craig W. Floyd, president of the nonprofit officers memorial fund, called the rapid uptick this year ‘extremely troubling.'”

San Francisco Cop Arrested For Manufacturing, Possessing Assault Rifle – A San Francisco police officer was arrested Tuesday for allegedly manufacturing and possessing an AR-15 style assault rifle and prohibited parts, following a year-long investigation by the department’s Internal Affairs Division.

Bitter clingers, circa 2016: Nancy Pelosi blames ‘God, guns and gays’ for Clinton’s struggles with white bros – “I think that, so many times, white — non-college-educated white males have voted Republican. They voted against their own economic interests because of guns, because of gays, and because of God, the three G’s, God being the woman’s right to choose,”

Democrats: We can win on guns – “’There were a lot of cynics who said, ‘Hillary Clinton’s going to drop this issue once the primary was over.’ That this was just a means to create a wedge with Sen. Sanders,’ said (Senator Chris) Murphy, who has become Congress’s best-known gun control advocate since the 2012 shooting in Newtown, Conn. ‘They were wrong.’” It’s always easier when you’re doing something you really love.

‘Butler’ Director Lee Daniels Inflates ‘Gun Violence’ Numbers By 66% in DNC Gun Control Plea – “The actual number of gun violence-related deaths is literally one-third of that, roughly 10,000 to 11,000 a year, on average. But Daniels did what Hillary Clinton and other gun control proponents have done throughout this election cycle —he quoted a figure that one can only reach by combining “gun violence” deaths, accidental gun deaths and suicides, then applying the term ‘gun violence’ to the sum.” Lies, damned lies and statistics.

Video: Cuffed suspect opens fire in back of cruiser, is killed by police – “Stokes was patted down and placed in the back seat of McLellan’s cruiser. That’s when investigators think Stokes removed a pistol from one of his boots and hid it beneath the back seat of the cruiser. The boots were then removed and checked during a second body search, an investigative report said. A video from a camera pointed at the back seat of McLellan’s cruiser showed Stokes squirming as McLellan asks him questions about his life as she drove him to jail.” He apparently wasn’t patted down enough.

  1. Everyday 3 and 5 americans everyday will become a victim to senseless gun violence that plagues the nation.

Mass attacks in foreign countries are very rare versus the 100’s of 1000’s of shootings daily in the united states versus the continents of Europe, Australia and Asia alone.

But it must obvious be the criminal or the wack job’s job fault. Not the fault of the fact the easy obtained firearms with the lax laws that effect the country. Not the fault of the gun lobby who continues to sprout heavily debunked propaganda about how guns keep us “safe”.

Never mind the fact you or your own loved one will 5x to be more likely the victim of the gun in your home than whatever windmills the gun lobby promote.

Gun laws would’ve obviously limited incidents of mass shootings.

Mental health and criminal checks would not have eliminated 2nd amendment rights,

Canada only had 8 mass killings in 20 years. Australia has had one in only 20 years. America just had 7 mass shootings just monday and over 250+ school shootings since the 80s.

The gun lobby cares more about making money and suppressing the rights of americans than solving the problems they’ve created.

How can you think the civilized world is more dangerous versus the 32000-33000 deaths yearly due to gun violence?

    Guns don’t protect. They kill.

    They cause suffering.

    They cause mayhem.

    They cause grief.

How many times do love ones have to suffer and gain no closure due to the fact the NRA and gun lobby points that finger at the victims and their families just for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

American gun culture is nothing but a culture of nihilism, greed and death.

    • I don’t know what’s sadder, the fact that you sound like you actually believe all that, or that you’re actually allowed to vote in a free nation. This is why we should have a minimum IQ requirement.

    • Most of the countries you cherish have about 4 times the rate of violent crime as the U.S.–pick one and go there

    • I am a demobot , I can only say what I am programmed to say. Now say it in the voice of the robot from “Lost in Space”.

      • “Danger Will Robinson! Danger Will Robinson! The giant sentient carrots all have assault weapons!”

    • This sounds so…familiar..somehow. Cut and paste drive-by post? I just love the “100’s of 1000’s of shootings daily” part. Hell, there aren’t that many shot or bombed in Syria or Iraq, and there’s a full blown war going on over there.

      • ^this. It’s just another silly cut and paste hack job, poorly done and grammatically wrong (among many faults…) Barely coherent lies are barely coherent lies. Nothing new from the fascists on the pro-criminality, anti-rights side.

Move along, folks, nothing to see here.

        • Yea, I used to own a Lee-Enfield. But it was made in 1950, so it probably didn’t kill anyone. I usually buy new, and that’s the only one that was ever owned by any state, so I’m pretty sure none of my other guns were ever used to kill anyone.

        • My 1939 Soviet Mosin probably took out a few Nazis in its day, I’d say that evens things out.

      • Hell, I finally bought my first pistol back in February and all it’s done is hide in my closet. I’ve yet to fire a single round, which depresses me.

    • “Everyday 3 and 5 americans…”

Eight people? That’s it? What about the 100’s of 1000’s of mass shootings daily?

Or are you trying to invent a new “Sing a Song of Sixpence”?

    • Dude, why are you here? It’s always fun, at first, when the new resident anti-gun troll moves in, throws around misquoted statistics and half-truths, but it comes to a point when even you have to realize that no one wants to have a half-page long flame war with you. Just go to CSGV’s Facebook page where all your misquoted stats and half-truths will get a round of applause in that echo chamber, and leave us alone.

    • America love it or leave it. One question I’m a 48 hour fan and can’t help to point out the majority of the show is blacks murdering blacks or blacks murdering white girls or brown Meredith g brown. Help me understand why this seems to be a pattern.

Do you suppose white folk should have something to protect themselves?

    • It’s a shame when people become more angrier at the gun than at the person committing the violence. Now that is true cause for concern.

    • “But it must obvious be the criminal or the wack job’s job fault.”

      Well, I’ll be danged.

So what do you guys think … blind pigs and acorns, or monkey + typewriter?

    • I’ll bite. Why to the cities with the highest rate of death among young black males always have Democrats in control?

Oh, it must be the gun lobby.

    • Posting the same crap on different threads. Can this latrine ditch be banned back to New Vermont already?

    • I think this is just spam at this point. I thought it was bait yesterday, but it’s really just spam. They must be the person making $456.54 per hour while working from home that I see in other comments sections.

    • OK smartass, I’m calling you out. Provide your state of residence (and I don’t mean self-medicated) and list the legal processes to acquire a firearm in that state. This is so anyone else on the forum who is a resident of that state can then confirm or refute your claim.

Since you claim to be an expert on firearms in Australia (as one of your listed enlightened nations) I challenge you to provide the process in my home state (New South Wales) to acquire a firearms license and then to legally acquire a firearm. This is a process the local anti-gun groups decry as too easy.

Or perhaps you can move to other enlightened nations where mass killings are done in a more civilized manner. France (full-automatic firearms acquired on the black market, cutting the throat of an 84 year old priest, or using a truck in Nice to run-down more pedestrians than were killed in the last two major shooting incidents in the USA), or Germany (illegally acquired firearm, or suicide vest), or perhaps Mexico (where a murder happens at least every 25 minutes on average, and an unholy alliance of Government, Military, Police, and the Cartels are in an open war against the disarmed people). Or perhaps these places are too rough for you?

    • Damn you must be one bored shill this morning copying and pasting that short novel like a good mental midget.

    • “American gun culture is nothing but a culture of nihilism, greed and death”

You really should take your batching to Hollywood where our culture is assaulted daily.

      Tool.

    • Tell me, when you troll, do you have your inflammatory garbage typed out in advance that you then just mindlessly copy & paste everywhere or do you actually waste time typing this out?

  2. Instead of melting valuable firearms and selling them as scrap metal, how about selling them to law abiding people and use the income to install a Level 2 panel between the cop and the perp? Just use the cheapest opaque panel, better than nothing. Put up a camera to see the backseat

    • Anytime a do a search incident to arrest I make the arrestee kick their shoes off so I can check. Half assed searches can get you killed.

      • Here I’m wondering whether the first ‘pat down’ was really a patdown (i.e. terry frisk) or an actual search incident to arrest. If it was the latter then it was a crap search.

  3. ‘They voted against their own economic interests…’

No, non-college-educated white males have voted Republican because they’re smart enough to understand that it’s in their economic interest to be gainfully employed rather than to live on welfare.

  4. I wish we could ascertain what kind of “assault weapon” this officer had. A full blown full auto? Missing a bullet button? SBR? Inquiring minds want to know. And we want to know why it took a year to investigate something that a simp0le inspection would reveal.

    • Just your garden variety of office get-even. The guy pissed somebody off. They got mad, then got even. In a society where you can be a criminal any second because of some stupid law passed in stealth mode, what do you expect?

  5. Wow Pelosi was 33% right as that statement pertains to me. What a huge improvement for her, as she’s usually batting zero.

    • That was not SBC. That was a poorly educated black man working the odds cashing a lottery ticket, strapped to an E ticket ride on a almost possible maybe he could secure his freedom.

I’m starting to feel sorry for the cops.

  6. Wow I didn’t know that old nancy-GOD is baby murder. I feel sooo edgeamacated…

  7. Don’t understand why anyone wants to feed the troll who inflates information or lies and gives zero reference for his numbers. If you leave him alone and he figures out that nobody want to play with him he will eventually go away.

    • I say we stroke him, whispering sweet honey do’s while group man hugging and letting him smell burnt powder of our chambers. Surely that will swing him over to our side.

      • Because the cops can’t wait an hour for a 107 year old man to fall asleep. Gotta barge in and kill him.

Gotta fill those Byrne grant quotas.

  8. If a cop was going to squeal on another cop about owning an AR, it of course had to happen in SF.

That shootout with the dindu nuffin was pretty eye-opening. They need to cremate the guy and place his ashes in a urinal at a football game.

  9. Just curious about cops not having a dangerous job. Do garbage men have to shoot 1500 armed criminals people a year? Do plumbers regularly get their asses beat, trying to fix a sink? I understand the theory, I just don’t buy it, in practice.

    • Cute, you actually believe all the people murdered by cops every year are armed criminals. Like 107 year old Monroe Isadore. Looks like you don’t buy much into common sense either.

  10. What the hell does God have to do with a woman getting an abortion?

I’m a non-college-educated white male, and I work in a parts store. My brother is a college-educated white male and works in a men’s shoe store. How did college make him better and smarter than me?

And it took San Francisco PD a YEAR to figure out he indeed built and possessed an “illegal” weapon? Crack police work there. A couple of years ago, there was a local guy who was building full-auto AR15s for people. That investigation took all of a month.

    • I read that as meaning they were looking for a way to take him down for political reasons, and they finally found the excuse they needed. It was just across the bay that officers were looking the other way as their buddies took sexual favors from underage prostitutes, don’t tell me they ratted a cop out for an AR technicality without an ulterior motive.

  11. Notice that when Democrats talk about a woman’s “Right to choose” they never say what the woman is choosing?

C’mon, just say it,…… its the choice to extinguish an innocent life for the sake of convenience.

    • Well, I’d call it murder instead of “extinguish”, but, otherwise, you are correct.

  12. Hellery has been getting way to much attention as the leading shebat. Nancy can’t have that must open her piehole and talk her down a notch/count some coup.

  13. Redcoat lives matter! These brave heroes put their lives on the line everyday as they steal our money for being the fastest driver on the freeway, lock us up for possession of plants, and violate our right to keep and bear arms. These most honorable supercitizens deserve our adoration and respect. Please, stop resisting!

  14. I’m always shocked at the visceral reactions that some gun control supporters have towards those that appose them. Granted, from both perspectives of this argument the stake are extremely high, but it seems like there isn’t even any common manners or respect anymore. Not that that’s exclusively the domain of gun control advocates, I’ve seen plenty of gun rights supporters stoop to personal attacks, as well. What ever happened to civil, intelligent arguments, even when the other side falls back on insults?

  15. Ya gotta hand it to #BLM. They’ve managed to turn the cops into the underdogs and at the same time made cops look good.

    • Who would you rather the nation rallies behind? The cops, who are doing the job we hired them for or BLM. who’re doing the job barry wants done?

  16. “We can win on guns.”

Well that all depends on what the definition of ‘win’ is…
