Who says gun grabbers are all bad? “Investigators told Action 4 News two men burst into an apartment located on the 1400 block of West Carmen Street around 4:00 Saturday morning and demanded money.” That was in Edinburg, Texas, as reported by valleycentral.com. Somehow, the residents managed to snatch the gat from the home invaders and send them scurrying off into the night. But that must have been some gun. After handing the piece over the the local 5-0, “…the victims said the suspects came back and asked for their gun backā€”that is when the victims called police again.” At which point the cops chased the disarmed doods until they failed to negotiate a turn at high speed. Or something. Just an thought, but the victims might want to think about securing a gun of their very own.

  1. More than enough stupid in this crowd. Get your gun took from you committing a number of felonies and then return to the scene to ask for your gun back. You have to make an effort to be that stupid.

    • Kinda like the lady on that old episode of Cops that flagged down a cop car cause the crackhouse gave her a baggie of drywall chunks instead of crack and she wanted the cops to get her money back.

      • Yep, I actually saw that one. Some people are just to stupid to live. But they do make good comedy relief on a slow news day.

    • Meh. It pales in comparison the number of people who rob Taco Bells and then turn in an employment application.

  2. Wonder how easily you could make the self defense case if you capped the perp with his own gun.

    • Here in South Carolina you’d probably get Citizen of the Month award.

Castle Doctrine is serious business in these whereabouts.

    • That would be true poetic justice.

In CA however, unlike South Carolina and many other “common sense” jurisdictions, you’d probably be charged for shooting an unarmed “victim” and then sued into poverty by the crook’s family.

That’s the price you pay for progressivism.

  3. I can’t stop laughing over the idiots returning to ask for the gun back. Maybe they figured if they weren’t shot by their intended victims the first time around, there would be continued restraint and no unnecessary use of deadly force by their intended victims, if they were very polite and asked for the return of their gun.

    • LongPurple,
Most likely these bad actors were suffering from oxygen deprivation as a result of having their heads stuck up their asses.

  4. When I saw the headline I was expecting a reference to the Washington state burglary shooting. A veterinarian called in three burglaries at his place in eight days. The final call ended in one dead one wounded. They won’t be returning to the scene again anytime soon.

  5. Lol, that would be such poetic justice if those dumbasses got shot w their own gat, haha!
