Gun owners in several states where Democrats control the legislative process are facing an onslaught of gun control and prohibition legislation and the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms today condemned what appears to be the party’s war on freedom in state capitols across the country.
“We are witnessing a full frontal assault on Second Amendment rights, not only in Washington, D.C. with Joe Biden leading the charge,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, “but in state legislatures in California, Connecticut, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Illinois, Washington and elsewhere Democrat majorities have gained control. Equally alarming is the support their extremist gun control agenda is getting from a small but vocal minority of gun prohibitionists who are determined to destroy the Second Amendment.
“These anti-gun zealots have forgotten that you can’t give away your neighbor’s freedom and expect to keep your own,” he observed.
In California, the threat has spread to the First Amendment, as the state has enacted a statute clearly designed to prevent, or at least discourage, legal challenges to gun control laws. This statute is now being challenged in federal court on First Amendment grounds. In other states, Democrats want people to jump through bureaucratic hoops, such as expensive training mandates or obtaining purchase permits from the police that amount to prior restraint, and require access to their medical records before they can purchase a gun, which raises Fourth Amendment issues. In New York, getting a carry permit even requires disclosure of social media accounts.
“What is truly alarming is the holier-than-thou arrogance of Democrat politicians who think penalizing law-abiding citizens by restricting their rights will somehow prevent criminals or crazy people from committing mayhem,” Gottlieb said. “Sadly, the establishment media has obviously chosen sides in this fight, going so far as literally adopting the anti-gun vocabulary by describing gun control legislation as ‘gun reform’ or ‘gun safety’ measures. The media is unwittingly opening the door to regulation of their rights, as Democrats and the Biden administration have already shown a desire to control and manipulate the news narrative.”
“This isn’t about preventing crime or improving public safety, it’s about control,” he warned. “It’s not about guns, but about rights, not just the right to keep and bear arms, but the right to privacy and redress of grievances. Democrats want to diminish First and Second amendment rights so they can control the narrative and decide what people can own. For a party that calls itself ‘Democrat,’ this is about as far away from democracy as it gets.”
Totalitarianism needs to be met with hard resistance.

At some point and I think that the point might be here or just about. The idea of mass civil disobedience will the norm. You walk into Walmart and everyone will be carrying an AR15, permit or not. No permits, no serial numbers, no nothing. The left brought it on. We will have constitutional interstate carry by defacto because there is no point in obeying bad laws and all citizens should practice jury nullification as the legal standard to finally end this nightmare. At this point the democrats are tearing away wholesale at the entire constitution. There is nothing they won’t grab at in attempt to subjugate the people of this country. They’ll trash it all to grab at the guns.
Interestingly, the press, who is supposed to be speaking truth to power is eerily silent when democrats raise the specter of pre civil war America as justification for their gun schemes. A light needs to be shining on the democrats 24/7 and every black person in this country should be able to read what the democrats are saying about them in open court to justify any kind of gun control.

Well on the covid front pretty much everyone that lost their job for refusing the experimental gene therapy had to be rehired with back pay except for one or two union groups whose lawsuits are still pending. We saw several massive protests throughout the pandemic that did lead to the governor cancelling various appearances and several additional emergency measures were also thwarted by legal action. To say there was no resistance is grossly ignorant or outright dismissive on how hard many citizens fought in every legal way they could before resorting to drastic measures (3 years of record setting gun sales in NY continuing even now with our new semi auto permit system). The quarantine camps have never made it past senate committee despite being a governor priority since Coumo in a democrat dominated legislature.

That this is an orchestrated effort is fairly obvious – and that it has a definite smell of desperation is obvious as well. But what can the Left’s endgame be? Do the people pushing this initiative truly believe they can stuff the firearms freedom genii back in it’s bottle? Considering the number of states having constitutional/permitless carry and will-issue permit laws covering tens of millions of Americans along with the (rather extraordinary and heartening) statistic that Americans own over a 1/3 of the world’s civilian possessed firearms what is the Left trying to accomplish with this blitzkrieg of clearly un-Constitutional gun control measures?
My opinion, if you’re curious, is that what they’re actually trying to do is manifold: one, they trying to slow the rate of new gun ownership (if the NSSF numbers are any indication that’s not working), two, it’s a typical political move to spur fundraising and support from their true-believers and finally they’re attempting to lay the groundwork for a long game push to overturn the recent 2A affirming SCOTUS decisions when if/when they succeed in swinging the court back to the Left.
One consequence has been a definite shining of a light on what they see as the true Final Solution to undoing the Founding – suborning the Bill of Rights towards “protecting” collective rights rather than individual rights as it’s intended and confiscation of whatever property they deem harmful to the “greater good” – guns, “excessive” wealth, private property…
It’s not complete hyperbole to think we’re in an existential fight for what’s left of our Republic. If that turns out to be true folks are about to get a refresher course in the history of mankind – few people make war at the total and destructive levels that classical liberal societies do. Heaven help us I hope that’s not what we or our immediate successors face.

I’d suggest that the Right stop, immediately, acting like Neville Chamberlain and start considering the idea that the your enemy has told you their intentions and you simply don’t want to believe them because their thought process is not one you can really understand on a normal level.

It is not an overstatement to say this, it’s repeating their own work in modern parlance:

I wonder sometimes if the power seekers use the idea of the antichrist and revelation for inspiration and for the manipulation of the faithful or if scripture just called the path of things to come.
If you actually look at the contemporary history of the area in which the things that will become the Bible were written you come to the same conclusion as the faithful. Such a person may or may not disagree with the faithful about the inspiration for Revelation but the conclusion they reach is nearly identical.
Which is to say, it’s both to some degree.
Personally, I’d lean more towards the former at this point in time but over a longer time scale, it’s generally going to tend towards the latter because human nature doesn’t change over the time scale under discussion. (Which is not to say that the Bible is some sort of long con or anything, merely to note that it contains many examples of astute observation of repetitive human behavior.)
In that vein I would point you towards the US government’s definition of “malinformation” (see link) and the campaign trying to combat it, which definitely involves what might be termed “psyops”, which would necessarily target the faithful and attempt to make use of their overall belief structure as well as exploit the individual components of that belief structure.

Pretty much, John Birch Society has a good overview of the money/organizations involved with communism as well as the corporate entities that work towards similar goals in the west but in the end servitude and subjugation is the goal.
