James Cathcart describes himself as a leadership consultant. We don’t know what kind of organizations he deals with, but if things ever go pear-shaped, he’s more than prepared with his GLOCK 23 (not to mention that Benchmade Barrage). You can check out the details of everything else he carries at Everyday Carry.

    • H’mm. A “leadership consultant”.

Yeah, that could have a loaded meaning.

Wasn’t it Mao who said “Power flows from the barrel of a (Glock 23) gun.”?

      • Most likely. He also has one of those “keep calm and some bull crap” key chains so you know he’s trying to be a hipster D.

        • It says “Keep calm and carry a lightsabre.”
And there’s a little toy lightsabre there, too.
So he’s also a Star Wars geek.
          Fitting.

  1. Whats the wager all the EDC fanboys carry field note books to think they Tacti-cool and never need or use it …..?

    • About even with the odds that they carried it one day and then never again just so they could put it their “EDC PHOTO!”

  2. A bunch of useless crap and what I can only assume is a butt plug on the bottom right corner

  3. I follow the EDC blog, but… I simply won’t post any such detailed photos on any public forum or blog. Sort of defeats the whole “concealed” carry if everybody on the internet knows what you carry everyday. With the prevalence of internet trolls & DOXing, I can see such “outing” as going dreadfully wrong if an anti-2A troll starts following the posts. Heck, even a moderately internet-savvy thief w/a bit of social media “skills” could potentially identify some targets for theft or other mayhem.

  4. This is the 2nd one with “field notes” what gives? I guess I’m not cool, cause I have no idea.

Do ya know what we need, man? Some rope.

  5. I’d be interested in finding out how long these people take just to set all their crap up for these lame pictures of things.

  6. It seems like everyone of these people have 2 lights, 2 knives, 2 double stack backup mags, a leatherman. Way to much shit IMO.
