We don’t see many Stoeger handguns in our pocket dump series but the Cougar 8000 is an underrated, affordable, dependable personal defense gun (see our review of the .45 here). See what Koray is carrying at Everyday Carry . . .

    • Indeed. Who makes it?

(On these pocket dumps – Yeah, they have a gun, but it’s the gear that usually generates the comments. Why not list them in the ‘Gear’ section?)

      • I have one like it, but with teak scales & maybe with an 1″ longer blade. Mine’s unique, bought from a local smith at a small FL St. Fairgrounds rock & gem show. He called it a Seville Stilletto.

Haven’t seen many stateside, but after moving to Germany learned the style blade is a traditional Spainish type called a Navaja.

  1. Same firearm I carry daily now that Fall has arrived and it will be my daily carry until Spring.
    Well done Koray

  2. That is a cool knife, and the Zippo. I liked the holster but when I clicked the Beymen thing it took me to rugs? Oh I get it, you use the knife to cut the rug and make a holster, I didn’t see any leather rugs on that site tho. This is confusing

    • Any idea of the make of the holster? The descriptions just listed the Cougar. I’m curious because my holster comes from Turkey and the workmanship looks similar.
