  1. An XDM 4.5 with a light. Pretty big but 19+1 of 9mm means you’re ready for anything short of Isis.

    • I purchased Level II armor online through the Galls website. I frequently wear it teaching or at the range. Under a sweatshirt no one can tell. Some additional blunt trauma protection on my motorcycle as well.

      Galls as I recall has its house branded armor priced below that of some of the major national brands but it’s manufactured by a major company – can’t recall right this second but I believe it might have been Point Blank.

  2. While not technically in my “pocket”, I find my XDM easy to conceal. I am a big boy though which definitely widens my choices for EDC..

  3. OTF knives like that always feel like cheap toys in my hand. I’m never 100% trustful of a liner-lock pocket knife, much less one of those.

    They make for fun letter openers though.
