  1. We don’t see many Taurus pistols here on everyday carry
Strange as they are inexpensive ( some say cheap)
So even cash strapped people could afford them
Taurus has a mixed reputation with some loving them and a lot of haters
We do see a lot of Smith and Wesson Shields and I see them for $350 or sometimes even less
So if you are poor you could buy a Shield and get a well regarded gun

    • I like the nail-polish inlay on the slide inscription – although I’d have gone with bright gold.
The Taurus sells for around $270 at my shop, and we’re known to run special promos on it from time to time. With almost twice the capacity of a Smith Shield and a cost difference that could buy a week’s worth of groceries, I’m not at all surprised to see them here. If I wasn’t already spoiled by “better” guns, I’d probably look at one myself if I were just starting out.
      🤠

  2. I’m not worried about he Taurus, but that paddle holster – UGH!

Paddle holsters suck, full stop. They are bulky, they shift around more than other designs, and, most importantly, they are severely prone to gun grabs from behind. Seriously, look up videos of someone grabbing a gun in a paddle holster from behind and giving a quick downward twist on the grip, it snaps the holster off the paddle every time.

    Buy a decent holster!

    Rant over.
