Air Force Alex posted his “Air Force Off-Base Carry” over at Everyday Carry.
In it, he’s got his SIG P365 – a great carry gun, by the way – in a Concealment Express rig. The Columbia River Knife & Tool folder is actually affordable – $45.99. The Victorinox Alliance watch? Not so much.
His belt, a Relentless Tactical Ultimate CCW leather model, is made right here in America. I’m pleased he put his belt in the picture. A lot of folks don’t and I wonder what they carry their gear upon. After all, a good belt is the foundation for a good holster and mag pouch(es).
And apparently he wears a “watch” on each wrist as he has a FitBit as well.
My only real criticism? Where’s your flashlight Alex? The majority of deadly force encounters take place in low- or no-light environments. Bad guys like darkness!
Solid carry John. Except no light (noted), or reload.
Man with one watch always knows what time it is. A man with two watches is never quite sure.
A pilot is concerned with different time zones. Ergo the Rolex GMT Master. My first sergeant wore one. We tended to get on airplanes and fly a long way away. Then jump out of them. It kind of sucked.
The Fitbit/Watch combination is a useful one if you don’t want your main watch to be reliant on a regular recharge and don’t want to drop a ton of money on a fancy “smart” watch (that you often can’t read in bright sunlight) yet also want to keep track of things like your heartrate, average resting heart rate, exercise heart rate, sleep patterns etc.
Maybe like of folks who post he considers his phone a light.
These little P365s may surpass Glocks in these posts. I know three guys who have switched to them.
Amateur. I wear 5 watches and 3 fit bits. You’re not a serious time traveler until you’re wearing at least 2 watches on each wrist.
Another Sig 365!
For a brand new gun, we are seeing how popular they are.
Wait until there are more 365’s than Glocks!
That expensive watch and the FitBit have two different purposes. Not surprised that someone who feels the need for those two purposes would wear both. They may both be worn on a wrist but they are not the same thing at all.
Would like to see a spare magazine too.
To be really very very honest I am always amazed when I actually look at you that despite being yourself so very knowledgeable how come you just keep benefitting others as well as helping others with it. Thanksgivings for the very knowledge sharing that you actually do for others.
