“New documents obtained by the government watchdog Judicial Watch prove, again, that guns sold through the Obama Justice Department’s Fast and Furious Operation have been used by Mexican cartels for mass murder south of the border,” townhall.com reports. Surprising no one. The entire point of the ATF’s secret anti-gun gun running operation: to connect U.S. gun stores to Mexican crime scenes, to pimp U.S. gun control. (Mission accomplished; U.S. border states still labor under increased reporting restrictions for multiple gun sales.) OK, that and thank or friends in the Sinaloa Cartel. That said, the numbers are pretty amazing . . .

“According to the new records, over the past three years, a total of 94 Fast and Furious firearms have been recovered in Mexico City and 12 Mexican states, with the majority being seized in Sonora, Chihuahua and Sinaloa. Of the weapons recovered, 82 were rifles and 12 were pistols identified as having been part of the Fast and Furious program. Reports suggest the Fast and Furious guns are tied to at least 69 killings,” Judicial Watch reports. “The documents show 94 Fast and Furious firearms were seized, 20 were identified as being involved in ‘violent recoveries.’  The ‘violent recoveries’ involved several mass killings.”

The documents include locations, type of gun recovered and number of people killed:

June 30, 2014 — One 7.62mm rifle recovered in Tlatlaya, Estado de Mexico.  This is the reported date and location of a shootout in which 22 people were killed.

May 22, 2015 — Two 7.62mm rifles recovered from the site of a massive shootout in Rancho el Sol, Michoacán, that left one Mexican Federal Police officer and 42 suspected cartel members dead.

August 7, 2015 — One 7.62mm rifle was among five firearms reported as recovered from an abandoned stolen vehicle in which three dead shooting victims were found in Parral, Chihuahua.

January 29, 2013 — One 7.62mm rifle seized in Hostotipaquillo, Jalisco is reportedly related to the assassination of the town police chief, Luis Lucio Astorga and his bodyguard.

January 11, 2016 — One .50 caliber rifle seized from the Joaquin “Chapo” Guzman’s hideout in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, where he was (re)arrested.

The 94 recovered firearms cited in the documents represent roughly 10 percent of the guns Eric Holder’s ATF shepherded into cartel hands. No doubt the count would be higher if Mexico wasn’t a failed narco state, and thus unable, unwilling or unlikely to report the full stats on F&F guns used by bad guys. No doubt it will be higher, later. Soon.

And yet no one involved in the ATF’s extra-legal black bag job has been held accountable for their actions. Not one — despite the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, armed with a bean bag gun, facing drug thugs using weapons enabled by the United States government in a plot to deprive Americans of their gun rights,

Go figure.

  1. Seems AKs are far more popular than ARs. So much for those EBRs they keep trying to ban in NY and California

  2. Why the fvck has not a single person in the ATF been charged with anything? Someone at some level knew exactly what was going on and should be charged with accessory to those murders.

    • Why the fvck has not a single person in the ATF been charged with anything?

For the same reason Finance never screws up their paychecks…

    • I can only hope that someday the Mexican government will ask the US to extradite Eric Holder.

      • Keep hoping.

Our frickin’ government (I’m a Mexican living in Mexico, by the way) only cares about covering its ass, amassing power and being the bitches of the American Government, because they are way too coward to be actually patriotic and protect the Mexican interests.

It’s more likely that all the illegal Mexicans living in the U.S. will return to Mexico from their own will, thinking that it’s morally and legally wrong to be there, than the Mexican government even trying to extradite a high profile U.S. citizen, let alone a common citizen.

    • For the same reason Shrillary is still running for office and not buried under Leavenworth where she belongs.

  3. I’m guessing we’re supposed to believe the Obama Administration misled the public? How dare you, sirs!

    • LOL yeah I can’t wait to read this on The Trace but we both might be waiting a long time. Ya know Holder is back in practice so he and his firm have some cash to throw around and threaten people if they don’t take it lol. Besides Bloomberg thinks Government can do no wrong remember comrad?

  4. People really need to start bringing signs saying close the Obama loophole to anti gun protests.

  5. Only Americans are supposed to be banned from owning firearms! We give them away to other countries.

  6. Nixon: ‘If the President does it, that means it’s not illegal’.
By extension, if the gov’t does it, it’s all good, yo. Suck it.

  7. Again, If it were not for David Codrea and Mike Vanderboegh, this might have never been known to have happened.

  8. How’s the old saying go?
If you want to make an omelet, you’ve got to spill some milk, crying crocodile tears under the bridge and over the dam….
    Or something like that.
Easy as cake, piece of pie….

Just think of the massive class action suit against our government brought by the families of victims.

    It’s getting late, nevermind.

  9. Mandatory clarification for antis reading this:

    Guns dont kill, people do.

“But guns help a great deal! Look at Mexico!”

Yes. Like, help the vast majority of population, which are law-abiding and peaceful, a great deal. The killings that you see in Mexico where these guns are involved, are perpetrated by the select few in a country where the innocent are disarmed.

    Try that with everyone armed.

Stop seeing only the *benefit* side of civillian disarmament. See the whole picture and always bear in mind opportunity cost.

  10. Use this to push for NFA and GCA repeal from your candidates for office. Continually remind your candidates the ATF is an accessory to officer Terry’s murder and these bills, in addition to being unconstitutional, are what empowered them to kill him.

  11. Obama and Holder should have been both charged with murder before the fact and illegal dealing with firearms and both should be behind bars.
Our Congress is spineless and gutless and so is out Justice Department when it comes to coming down on powerful politicians as easily as they do to ordinary citizens.
Clinton has already said she will use Executive Orders to go after the Second Amendment on her first day in office, which will mean that she will violate the Oath of Office she will take. She should then be immediately Impeached for violating the oath.
Our Congress is gutless and of no use to the people of the US.

  12. Nothing will happen. The only reason it’s still talked about is because you can’t wrap your head around it and get thru the ooda in that we are lost.
We give weapons to cartels and Isis, bad guys are good, middle aged white men are all bad, body parts mean nothing and you might be months away from losing your lifestyle.
So go drink a beer, watch your sports heroes that are helping take away your stuff, type away and vocalize because you aren’t gonna do anything anyway.

  13. Why would anyone get in trouble over this – the program worked as intended.

Guns sold in the U S were used to kill people in Mexico. Now they have their headline, ironically to stir up people appalled at people getting killed, which the program puppeteers care about not at all.

What’s a few dead, if that gets you the policy you want? Those people don’t count, anyway. Just poor Mexican people, and law enforcement on both sides of the border – expandables, really. It’s not like they’re govt officials or party operatives. (But, I repeat myself.)

Besides, if a few unimportant people have to die to provoke enough crisis to get our way, hey we won. We get to do whatever we want.

  14. Dont forget: nothing crosses into a sovereign country without the Cabinet Principals being read in, and that would include State and SecDef, for Mexico.

Obama got away with Holder being thrown gently under the bus. But guess who was SecState at the time, who would have HAD to sign off on discussions about corrupt Eric Holders DOJ/ATF smuggling guns into Mexico, no matter how…

And giving a speech to Mexican Parliament only two weeks before Agent Brian Terry was shot down with a GunWalker ATF weapon…repeating the ALREADY discredited “90% of assault weapons come from border gun stores” meme…

    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2009/apr/16/barack-obama/Obama-claims-90-percent-guns-used-Mexico/

  15. “If Mexico wasn’t a failed narco state”

    Go fuck yourself.

People know don’t know shit about Mexico commenting stupid shit about Mexico solely because racism. The ATF is just as corrupt, if not more as some of the departments of Mexico.

Hell, the ATF is trying to take away YOUR rights while they kill the Mexican population by giving guns to the cartels to make them stronger than the goverment and the people that actually is trying to fight them.

If you are perceiving Mexico as a “failed corrupt state” it’s damm sure because of the ATF.

But hey, let’s disregard the good people trying to make shit better.

  16. Not real sure about the Mexican Government, but I’m sure it has a ways to go if it wants to catch up to the corruption here in the U.S.
