As the sun sinks below the yardarm on this year’s NRA Annual Meeting and show from St. Louis, it only seems appropriate to leave the Armed Intelligentsia with one final example of the floor traffic enhancement art. This is Jessie, spokesmodel for American Tactical Imports, the same folks who bring you Ted Nugent brand hunting ammo. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

  1. Nothing wrong with a little gratuitous beauty. Thanks for that! Can’t see how she would have any connection to Terrible Ted 😉

  2. Arrgh, yardarm is one word, you scurvy-ridden bilge rat. We wait for the sun to dip below it, daily, and with good reason.

  3. My long lost sister Leah! She was kidnapped (we think) by a UFO when we were kids. My family has been looking for her for decades. Thanks to Dan, we can now bring her home for some real family love’-in!

  4. I …I’m…..???? damn whats my name again….(look her in the eyes)…..um hi I’m a multimillionaire…..(oh damn i used that one last night)……what’s your favorite cereal??(damn i blew this one)…..hi I’m quagmirer…gig a dee

  5. Wow, just wow! I seriously doubt if that belt is sturdy enough to hang a holster off of. What was she thinking when she left the house this morning?

  6. First off, I question your reliabilty to actually see beauty, as opposed to just being infatuated with over sized fake boobs. It looked to me like they went out and found a bunch of out of work pole dancers. Who were out of work for good reason. DO the words CHEAP and FAKE have any meaning to you?

    • Not to be contrarian, but you do realize that FAKE does not always come CHEAP, don’t you?

    • In all seriousness, I agree. The booth babes are not what I think of in terms of real female beauty. I like women that are sensual, sultry, classy, elegant, and mysterious.

      • I like women that are sensual, sultry, classy, elegant, and mysterious.

At what bus station do you find them?

        • Each year there seems to be less and less of them. I think the 1960s produced the finest generation of adult American women that came of age. The women back then were simply magical. Unfortunately, I was much too young to start dating. Now we have gender raunch women that spit, swear, and can barely cook a meal in a microwave.

  7. You guys do realize that women read gun blogs too?

Thanks so much for reminding me why my sister refuses to learn about guns and wants nothing to do with the gun community. It’s this “boy’s club” atmosphere that’s driving away the other half of the VOTERS in this country.

    • Gee, Sarah. Do you feel victimized and offended? Good. What do you really expect in the comments section under a piece about a booth babe? Perhaps in your opinion we should applaud the model’s independence, brilliant mind, and creative fashion statement? Stop trying to turn men into womyn.

BTW, very rational and thoughtful decision making process your sister has going there why not to learn about and own a gun. Excuse me while I now go sign up for some sensitivity training to embrace my inner goddess.

      • Yeah Sarah, pretty sure you dont see our local lawyer chick Girlswithguns throwing a hissy do you? Chill SEMI-IRONIC FLAME DELETED

        • lol.

RF, please tell me that getting snarky with flame deletions is going to become a regular thing.

          • Your point is that your sister refuses to learn about guns because men are pigs?
            BAD
Let me guess, she doesnt like mechanics for the same reasons? How about Janitors…?
I’m guessing by this logic, you are also sticking to “guns kill people and spoons made Rosie fat”?

    • I think she’s quite lovely. And I bet she’s a supporter of the most pro-gun candidate Ron Paul like all politically-smart women are.

    • You guys do realize that women read gun blogs too?

How would we know who’s lurking? Come out from the shadows and post regularly and then we’ll know that women read gun blogs.

      • Funny that Sarah quoted the ‘boy’s club’ atmosphere is driving away the other half of the VOTERS in this country. In reality, women vote at a higher rate than men and women are buying guns and joining the pro-gun community in large numbers. Poor Sarah is trying to use the feminist voting threat tactic to get blogs to be politically-correct enough for her. In the long-run, men are going to benefit so much more from feminism than women who in the long-run will suffer the most. Make that suffer the second most. Children are now and will continue to suffer the most in modern society whose laws and attitudes are mostly dictated by feminist influence at least more than other influences. Men are slowly waking up. Men realize government, society, and women need us more than we need them.

  8. Aharon, you are right that women vote at a higher rate than men do. But that was precisely the point. You might think that women are “buying and joining in large numbers” but that is the gun blog echo chamber talking. Most women out there do NOT own guns, are NOT joining in large numbers, and most women vote liberal, for the simple reason that they value their reproductive freedom. You apparently think you have so many friends, you don’t need any more.

Do you want them to own guns and vote for gun rights, or don’t you?

Do you want those evil liberals and “womyn” (whatever that is) to stop trying to implement gun control laws?

Then wake up. Stop acting like sixth grade boys who just discovered porn. Stop acting like little girls who are too insecure to respect themselves, trying sooo hard to be on the boy’s side just to fit in.

I am a gun owner, and I am embarrassed sometimes for our gun community. I see folks bitch and piss and moan about how nobody understands their gun hobby, but at the same time I see damned few people welcoming outsiders into it, with patience and safety and understanding of their concerns. Why isn’t the NRA using that protection-of-the-children angle? Oh, too busy painting all of us with a white good ole’ boy brush, that’s why. And do you listen to their concerns when they do tell you, like I just did? Nope. You rain down scorn on someone who dares to tell you something you need to hear, and then wonder why she doesn’t post all the time? Wake up.

If you can’t act like grown up human beings, then you have no right to complain that “all those gun haters are so stupid.”

And by the way, not all gun owners are conservative, people. I am a liberal, and I also hunt deer. I own several kinds of guns, I am a strong supporter of 2a, and I carry concealed. Your little club could be bigger if folks like Aharon could only get over themselves and begin to behave like adults.

      • Since I got the email, I know what was deleted. I just want to say that “Sarah… you’re not necessarily going to be missed in our gun community” is funny considering it’s coming from someone whose posting history dates back a whole six weeks. Your opinions are welcome, so long as they’re your opinions. Don’t presume to speak for the rest of us.

        • Not sure what you mean by posting back six weeks, as the first time I posted here was only a few days ago. Of course they are my opinions, what else would they be?

I wasn’t the one who screeched about “political correctness” or “feminists.” I brought up the fact that the gun community is leaving a helluva lot of money and voters on the table and should stop and think about it.

As for being missed, I already am a part of the gun community, whether anyone likes it or not. If posting that y’all might want to consider women as part of the group is what sets people off, then it says more about them than it does about me. In short, if you cannot see the wisdom of inclusion, then you have no right complain about gun control laws.

  9. my point was not that I have only posted comments for 6 weeks or whatever, fortunately women were born beautiful, AND 6 weeks ago there was plenty of booth babes at SHOT and there wasnt one female who got all moody because guys unshamefully like myself looked at those women, and if we cant agree about it, we should ban pictures of booth babes because clearly we cant all agree that a woman showing her cleavage (especially like the picture in this article) on purpose wants/needs that attention.
Oh and no more sexy calendar chicks with guns….sorry guys, if this is a respectful and moral site, we must adhere to that code that Sarah wants us to. I will apologize respectfully for being a 26 year old male…
But I must say… my own girlfriend thought she(girl in pic) was beautiful and had a great set. That is all.

  10. Aharon, you steadfastly and repeatedly miss the point, dontcha. I never said anything about adhering to a code. You are the one who brought up “political correctness” and sneering words about women. (Did the big mean feminists hurt you in your past or something?)

My point has nothing to do with morality, or whether men like to look at women. It has to do with creating an atmosphere in the gun community where ordinary women, some like me who already own guns, but especially those who are just thinking about it and might be looking for help, are not made welcome. At all. Aharon, it is precisely the response that you gave that drives away what might be female allies in the cause. Whether you personally want women here is not the point. Other men might actually appreciate women coming to this website and others, to learn about guns and maybe buy them and shoot them.

My point is about leaving out half the population, and about leaving a LOT of money and votes on the table. All I ask is that you think about our public image, and quit feeding into the Neanderthal stereotype that the gun-haters have plastered all over the media. Wake up.
