CrossBreed Holsters Reign

CrossBreed Holsters has just unveiled the Reign IWB holster, a new addition to their line-up designed for everyday carry (EDC). The Reign was made with comfort and security in mind, while allowing for quick access to your handgun that is adaptable to different clothing styles.

The Reign is made from an all-Kydex pocket, enhancing its durability and providing a secure fit for concealed carry. One of the standout features is its dual-clip design, which supports ambidextrous carry, making it suitable for both left and right-handed shooters. Users can also adjust the ride height and firearm retention, allowing for a personalized fit that balances discreet carry, rapid access and above all, allows you to carry your sidearm exactly how you want to.

Comfort during all-day wear is a significant consideration for IWB holsters. The Reign addresses this with its dual-side Mid-Rise Guards, which help minimize hot spots and snag points against the body and clothing. This design choice enhances the overall comfort, making extended wear more manageable.

Stability is another crucial aspect of the Reign’s design. The dual-clip system ensures that the handgun remains well-supported, preventing sagging and distributing the carry load across the belt. This design keeps the holster stable on the hip, even during active movement. For further customization and stability, users can incorporate CrossBreed’s optional Xecutive ModWing and Xecutive Wedge kits.

The Reign holster is designed to accommodate the latest trends in EDC handguns, including suppressor-height sights and pistol-mounted optics. Its elevated sight channel and optic cut make it compatible with both standard and micro red dots, providing flexibility for modern pistol configurations.

Last but not least, security is paramount in any holster system. The Reign features a retention adjustment system that allows users to secure their pistols while customizing their draw style. Additionally, the holster includes a covered magazine release to prevent accidental ejection of the magazine during wear or draw.

The Reign retails for $50 and is designed to accommodate 1911s, Glocks, SIGs, Tauruses, Smith & Wessons and Springfield Armory firearms. It is available in black or an American flag design on the outside.

  1. That thing has more clips and doodads on it than a Tesla. Is it WiFi enabled? Will a Biofire Smart? gun fit in it?;)

  2. “dual-side Mid-Rise Guards”

bad idea for an IWB concealed carry holster. perfect channel to force clothing into on both sides of the gun, thus increasing chances of the trigger being snagged and pulled when you try to reholster after a defense incident or drills unless you specifically clear the clothing out of the way with your other hand.

  3. What, no light option? When are the manufacturers going to get with the program? Those that do offer light bearing options only offer limited light models anyway, usually. Muddy River holsters did me right by building my holster to my pew and light setup. I have no connection to Muddy other than I’m a customer who was taken care of with my setup.

  4. I wish they would get rid of those crosses on the belt clips. I’m not saying anything against their religious beliefs, but the fact of the matter is that they are a dead giveaway that you are carrying a concealed firearm.

    • Mark;

Its a concealed holster. If its concealed how would they see the crosses to be a dead give away you are carrying a concealed firearm if it was concealed?

If they could see the crosses on the concealed holster they can probably see the gun too and would know you were carrying a concealed firearm anyway?

      • It’s not an issue with an untucked shirt or jacket. If you tuck your shirt in the clips are still visible. My EDC holster has clips that are flat, matte and blend in with my belt. These thick, adorned clips draw eyes right to them.

Crossbreed does offer alternative clips but of course they add to the overall cost. Like a car dealer saying they can wash the turd, they put there, off the hood of that Lambo your eyeing but it’ll add $20,000 to the price.

      • Oh wait, you mean if you carry concealed but ‘tuck-able’? If so, I get your question now. But still, are the crosses enough to draw attention considering the clips would be visible anyway?

    • Website shows available polymer and soft belt loops which is good as metal can scratch leather seats if your shirt/jacket comes up in the car. No branding on either option also.

    • Not to mention that the cross they use isn’t every Christian’s cross. ☦️

We Orthodox Christians aren’t really hard-nosed about it, but for some reason Roman Catholics and Protestants want this ✝️ ☦️ to be another differentiator, in an exercise of free will.

Do they offer skull clips? 💀

    • If people know what the visible clips mean, then it doesn’t matter what’s on them. Most people won’t know what that means. Most people won’t notice you carrying, no matter how you carry it. It seems like fewer people even look at you at all these days.

  5. Once again, apparently if you are a spammer and post links to malicious sites or malware or scams you don’t get your comments moderated. Where if you are a regular user and posting legitimate speech and content your comments can go into moderation.

Look at the spam comments from the ‘Brian’ critter above.

  6. One thing I’ve found with holsters that have those metal clips is they are sharp. I’ve actually cut myself on those clips and so I never buy a holster that has those.

No holster is perfect for every person and every occasion and is why I have four or five holsters depending on my need but NONE have that god forsaken metal clip.

I’d never buy and use that awful contraption for my daily carry.

  7. Like I often say to I phone users “Welcome to 10 years ago.” Other holster makers were doing this long ago.
