  1. Looks like a nice set-up!

Glad to see driver kits finally adding JIS bits. I got tired of messing up screw heads trying to use Phillips drivers on my Japanese built tools / vehicles and purchased a set several years ago. For about twice what I paid, for a basic set, you can get this much more complete option.

    • Why not have yet another screw head standard. We already have flat, Philips, Robertson, hex, torx, posidrive, tri-wing, clutch, and some in both metric and standard. All are the definitive answer to screw head cam out. I have more screwdrivers than I can keep track of.

The nice thing about industry standards is there as so many to chose from.

      • Since you and I don’t have any input on fastener development, our only choice is to try and keep our tool chest(s) current so that we can continue to work on whatever comes our way.

I still have an old set of Xcelite Bristol Multiple-Spline screwdrivers from when I used to repair handi-talkies and DoD devices that used special hi-torque set-screws. Haven’t used them in years…yet, you never know when that random Bendix / King talkie will need disassembly or knob replaced.

  2. Very expensive so I bought the wheeler which is +/- 2 in accuracy while I think fix it sticks has a much lower accuracy rating if I am correct

  3. pricing on these is insane.
I use the $40 tool kit I bought to work on my kid’s go karts for all my guns. Never under-equipped.
