Not an actual telly. A Telly Award. “Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films.” Yeah, who needs those stupid Emmys? ‘Cause if you think the Emmy award peeps would have so much problem with noun / verb agreement, or give a gong to a bottle blond showing some love to a dead pheasant, you’re wrong. Dead wrong. BTW I made that name up.
:19 “What the heck is this thing?”
:26 “Here it is, Fido… now lick it clean for me.”
Anybody have any real experience with a Franchi 48AL in 20 gauge? I thought this might be a great auto shotgun for my Oldest Daughter. It seems that this might be a great gun for women.
I’ve got one that my old man gave me. I’ve probably put less than 500 rounds through it personally. It’s a great gun…reliable, very lightweight, well crafted. I think this one was manufactured in about 1969.
Not sure if they’ve made any design changes, but one thing with it…it kicks like a MULE. Harder than most 12ga pumps I’ve shot. It’s a very lightweight recoil operated design, which causes this. Mine has a hard plastic buttplate, but a Limbsaver pad makes a world of difference.
I think all women should first master the art of the gun before they touch a firearm.
“master the art of the gun before they touch a firearm”
I’m not understanding this sentence. How does one master the art of the gun without touching a firearm? To learn to master, in my mind at least, would mean training with a gun under supervision, to practice at a range, etc.
