“W2 my dead . . . swung some around the whole bus . . . the B15 bro . . . You got the chop?” Translation: Hello associates! I had a physical altercation on the B15 bus. Do you have the firearm I requested in an earlier communication? No joke, actually. “Kahton Anderson was a 14-year-old member of the Stack Money Goons gang when he took a gun out of his backpack and shot at rivals of the Twan Family gang in Bedford-Stuyvesant in retaliation for an earlier incident,” nydailynews.com reports. Mr. Anderson is on trial for the murder of a passenger, caught in the crossfire. Specifically . . .

A day [after the social media post above], bus rider Angel Rojas, 39, a husband and father, was shot in the head on the crowded bus and killed shortly after 6 p.m.

After letting off a shot in the bus, a surveillance video showed Anderson chasing after the group of boys, firing repeatedly.

He claimed that he was running away from enemies, although the video didn’t appear to show anyone behind him.

Anderson was found guilty last year of weapons possession and reckless endangerment. That jury could not reach a verdict on the highest charge of murder, so he is being tried again.

Prosecutors said he was aiming at rivals who shot at him about two hours earlier.

Cops said the murder weapon was a .357 Magnum.

Anderson’s defense attorneys argue that their client acted in self-defense, and that he was trapped on the bus with nowhere to go.

You might say there’s a warm place Mr. Anderson should go to now, but I couldn’t possibly comment. Except to say I hope Mr. Anderson doesn’t get a Picasso in prison. That would mess up his prospects for one day reintegrating himself into polite society.

  1. That whole story is absolutely bogus. How can anyone believe that someone in NYC would be carrying a gun when we all know the NYPD refuses to issue permits to carry! You people actually believe that we’d fall for something like this? Save it for April Fool’s Day!

    • I hate to speculate, but I think it’s possible his handgun might have not been registered. I’m really shocked at this, too. The registration law in New York has been very effective at stopping gun violence, so I have to assume that if his gun was unregistered, it was just one of the rare occurrences where a gang member carried an unregistered gun.

      • Uhhhhh, GASP, NO! It can’t be so! Really? How does something like this ever happen? We need more laws NOW! If it saves just one child……

      • I think it’s very presumptuous of you to say this young man was a gang member. What’s to say that the Stack Money Goons isn’t a neighborhood social organization? In any case, I’m sure the whole thing is just a misunderstanding.

Gun control – not working anywhere, one death at a time.

    • +1 on that! We KNOW that NYC has 100% effective “reasonable, common-sense” gun control laws, and no one except politicians and the publisher of the NY Times can have a concealed carry permit. So it is OBVIOUS that this whole story has been manufactured by the evil, right-wing racist conspiracy to make an innocent teenager look bad. Hey, he’s a good boy!

  2. Clearly a troubled yoot victimized by bullying struggling desperately to put his life back together.

    • As a member in good standing with the ‘Stack Money Goons’ gang, he was obviously just trying to stack more money for his ‘peeps’, homeboy…

  3. It seems that you’ve been living two lives. One life, you’re Kahton Anderson student at a local high school. You have a social security number, get passable grades, and you… help your momma carry out the garbage. The other life is lived in the streets, where you go by the alias “K-Dog” and are guilty of virtually every crime we have a law for. One of these lives has a future, and one of them does not…..

  4. Anderson’s defense attorneys argue that their client acted in self-defense, and that he was trapped on the bus with nowhere to go.

Hey, numbnuts, everyone in NYC is trapped with nowhere to go, but they don’t end up busting a cap in a stranger’s crown.

    • Go easy on that defense lawyer. He’s just an underpaid government employee doing his best.

Those who graduate at the top of their class in law school don’t wind up in the NY City PD’s office.

      • …and wouldn’t dream of pushing that bullshit story. Plea down on the gun charges and a do a nickle for a daylight murder is my prediction. History repeats, no one learns anything, innocents (and not-so innocents) continue to spill their blood on the altar of the almighty State.

  5. Arn’t cel phones great? They can replace a 10 year veteran field detective with a computer tech now. Predictive cognition……

  6. “W2 my dead . . . swung some around the whole bus . . . the B15 bro . . . You got the chop… Kahton… Stack Money Goons…Twan Family… Bedford-Stuyvesant…”

Is all of this jibber-jabber supposed to be English?

      • “You found drugs in my pants? Those ain’t my pants. I must be wearing someone else’s by mistake.”

        • This happened on a COPS episode we saw the other day – ‘I never saw that before, I just bought that pair of pants at Goodwill a few hours ago’.

You hear that a lot of COPS… ‘Never saw that before in my life’.

  7. Whut it be like…do adult crime-do adult time. In a prison with adults. Or a chain-gang. That’d learn ‘dees boyz…Obama HAS a son.

  8. It’s nice to see BedSty is still living up to its reputation after all these years. My father worked in the FDNY and was stationed for 12 years in BedSty. They could always tell if a new guy was a veteran by how he reacted when gun shots started flying outside.

  9. Theys no place to put “W2 my dead . . . swung some around the whole bus . . . the B15 bro . . . You got the chop?” on an ATF Form 4473. So was’ he spposed to do?

  10. If only there was some sort of background check performed before young Mr. Anderson took possession of the firearm, this whole thing could have been avoided.

    • Exactly! And he’s only 14, so where was the responsible, legal adult owner who was supposed to be supervising this minor while experiencing the joys of responsible firearm ownership and use? I’m displeased.

    • Wrong organ; think further back on the sow. And no, you can’t make a silk purse out of pig’s ass, either.

  11. “You might say there’s a warm place Mr. Anderson should go to now ………” Yeah the friggin’ ELECTRIC CHAIR and so should his mammy and pappy. I would stack ’em like pancakes and “flip the switch” too bad N.Y. has done away with THAT form of “rehabilitation”.

Anyone else notice that since presiDUNCE Marshall-Davis/Soetoro/Obama took office the Feds have yet to put anyone to death who received the “ultimate” punishment as a sentence save for a rancher in Oregon (who was “White”)?

  12. I’ve been stranded in the combat zone
I walked through Bedford Stuy alone
Even rode my motorcycle in the rain
And you told me not to drive
But I made it home alive
So you said that only proves that I’m insane

  13. There go those damn, literate, Amish folk… starting trouble again. C’mon people, if we can save just one life….. /

  14. Perhaps deblasio should ride the buses of NY more often. His son could tag along and translate ebonics to English for his old man.
