Today (July 22nd) through July 25th, GATORZ is including a free backpack with the purchase of any ANSI Ballistic eyewear from their website. As if that isn’t enough, you can use coupon code TTAG15 for a 15% discount on any GATORZ order. Normally I don’t pass along press releases related to sales and promotions and such, but I’ve been rocking a pair of GATORZ Delta shades since early April and I absolutely love ’em.

Here are way more photos of me rocking the Deltas than you want to see:

  1. Too pricey.

Better deals elsewhere for glasses meeting the same ANSI specs AND buy a backpack too – for less.

    • I have Smith & Wesson brand eye shields. $40. They’re not aluminum framed, but they look darn near the same, and still look almost new despite having been used literally several dozen times.

  2. Alas Gatorz’s prescription lens support doesn’t reach far enough for me
No progressive, no bifocals (therefore no inverted bifocals)
    Only to -3.00 sphere (I need -6 and -9.75)

I’ll have to stick with my ESS Crossbow with interchangeable shields and separate prescription lens carrier.

  3. fair price for good stuff, but i need to know they’ll keep the 100mph+ wind out tear free… gotta try ’em on.

  4. I’ve looked these glasses since reading the article. They look like quality gear. I like quality gear. I also spend a lot of time in the sun. Quality glasses will save your eyes. Going off shore next weekend if the weather cooperates. Even if it doesn’t, I’m closing a couple of gun deals, picking up a Randall knife and guaranteed a fine dinner just for the drive. One deal is a Colt AR-15 Delta Elite H-Bar in the aluminum case, factory Simmons scope (gag) and papers. Normally, wouldn’t touch it, but I know the province. One mag fired through it. For a $1000 what the hell. I digress. I’ve said it before. Quality gear is not inexpensive, but it’s worth it.

  5. Found your post interesting to read. I cant wait to see your post soon. Good Luck with the upcoming update. This article is really very interesting and effective.
