Texas Governor, Rick Perry Welcomes Visitors and Texans Alike to the Inaugural Texas International Firearms Festival (TIFF)
Two-day Texas Gun Fest event, scheduled for November 8 and 9, features top firearms manufacturers, Austin City food, plenty of action and fun for the entire family.
LIBERTY HILL, TX (July 2014) – Texas Governor, Rick Perry is the latest public figure and celebrity to welcome the Texas International Firearms Festival (TIFF) to Austin, Texas, on November 8-9, 2014. The two-day event to be held at Best of the West Shooting Sports outside of Austin, Texas- features America’s top firearms and firearms accessory manufacturers.
Attendees will be able to test-fire handguns, rifles and shotguns from ArmaLite, Advanced Armament, Barrett, Beretta, FNH, GLOCK, Henry Repeating Rifles, McMillan, SIG SAUER, SilencerCo, the Silencer Shop, SlideFire, Springfield Armory, Tracking Point, Underground Tactical, Winchester and others. Shopping for firearms accessories and gear will be available at a tented retail village during the event. Performance shooter and TIFF organizer and spokesperson, Kirsten Joy Weiss will be on hand during the festival.
In an official greeting for TIFF attendees, Texas Governor Rick Perry called the Lone Star State, “a bastion of personal freedom and well-known for our proud support of our precious Second Amendment rights. Tickets are still available in a One-Day, Weekend and VIP pass format. It was him. I don’t know if he has an AR or not, but he is a gun owner and I’ve heard that he’s a decent shot too. That wasn’t a very long distance and I’m sure the optic was zeroed in, which makes it easy with targets that large.
Decent enough to shoot a coyote with his .380 when he was out jogging.

Why California is broke, and Texas is not

“A friend of mine from Los Angeles recently encapsulated the difference between California and Texas in a short story that you Cato-ites might find amusing:
“The governor of California is jogging with his dog along a nature trail. A coyote jumps out and attacks the governor’s dog, then bites the governor. The governor starts to intervene, but reflects upon the movie Bambi and then realizes he should stop because the coyote is only doing what is natural.
“He calls animal control. Animal control captures the coyote and bills the state $200 for testing it for diseases and $500 for relocating it. He calls a veterinarian. The vet collects the dead dog and bills the state $200 for testing it for diseases. The governor goes to the hospital and spends $3,500 getting checked for diseases from the coyote and getting his bite wound bandaged.
“The running trail gets shut down for six months while the California Fish and Game Department conducts a $100,000 survey to make sure the area is now free of dangerous animals. The governor spends $50,000 in state funds implementing a ‘coyote awareness program’ for residents of the area. The Legislature spends $2 million to study how to better treat rabies and how to permanently eradicate the disease throughout the world.
“The governor’s security agent is fired for not stopping the attack. The state spends $150,000 to hire and train a new agent with additional special training, re: the nature of coyotes. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) protests the coyote’s relocation and files a $5 million suit against the state.

Huntington Beach (CA) residents urge city action against coyotes

“Chris Lowe, a resident of Huntington Beach for 15 years, was unaware of the coyote issue until his two Chihuahuas were killed in the spring.
“The (dogs) would always run up to the door when we got home, and it was odd that they weren’t there to greet us,” Lowe said. “I went and looked in the backyard, and I saw them both lying there dead, all torn open.”
The attack played a major role in Lowe’s decision to move his family out of Huntington Beach in August to an area where he feels the predators are less of a threat to his 6-year-old daughter and new pets. Lowe said he called every government agency he could think of, but nothing was done.
In August, while another couple was walking its two small dogs on leashes in Central Park, a trio of coyotes appeared. One of the coyotes attacked the dog and ran away with it.
After the attack, the city held a seminar, “Living With Coyotes,” which was attended by more than 300 people. The presentation, conducted by a wildlife specialist from the Humane Society, aimed to educate residents on how to coexist with coyotes and provide tips to avoid encounters.”

I would hope that, after he has had a chance to see how globalism is ravaging this country, Rick Perry has had a change of heart about attending another Bilderberg meeting like he did in 2007. By his 2012 run for the presidency, Bilderberg was also backing Perry.
Has this leopard changed his spots? Or is he, like Bobby Jindal, going to sell all of us in this country out for a chance to sit at the globalist elite table?

I would like to mention I personally have no problem with Kirsten’s face appearing anywhere. Ever. And I wish I could go, however I’m currently unemployed and stuck in California. November 8th is my birthday though, so shoot a cake for me please.
For a second there I thought “What’s with the recoil with that AR-15?” than I realized he was probable firing a .308 AR-10 of sort.
