Hey it’s a meme we made all on our own! This one was for TTAG’s @guntruth Instagram feed, which obviously y’all should follow.

We’ll- Bug-A-Salt stocks won’t cause the same problems those old Browning stocks did once upon a time…
I got that reference
Instagram = Facebook. Those and Twitter are not allowed on my network. Use of them is traitorous.
Don’t use either. I have better uses for my time.
No Facebook or Twitter here…definitely a deal breaker.
If more people would learn to drop these social networks out of their life and switch to more friendly ones, we’d be better off.
No, the view counters are not the only thing that matters. Feeding anti gun companies is doing way more hard than whatever exposure you might thing you’re getting.
I’d like to see someone attach a brace and see what the reaction would be… 😉
I expect the reaction would be… a salty one.
@drednicolson I don’t get it??
…now when are they going to make salt in 6.5 creedmmooooooooooooore??
No worries. Do a followup shot over your left shoulder and your luck will be good as new.
I’ve got one. The thing works great!
Received a Bug-A-Salt for Father’s Day this year, as a gag gift from my oldest son. Funny thing is, it actually does work, though not at the advertised range of up to 2 feet. 12″ or less is better. Horseflies, sometimes require a 2nd shot. It’ll knock Hornets and wasps down, but it doesn’t kill them (their exoskeleton is too tough).
I’m too old to swat them out of the air with a swatter anymore.
I bought one of the original first generation yellow models and it works great for killing flies. So good that I became a seasoned fly hunter and wiped out the local population. I found myself leaving the door open a little longer each time I came in or went out. Unfortunately the little vermin finally caught on and I couldn’t invite a fly in with a bowl of tater salad or a bucket of sh!+.
A couple years later, on my birthday, I was given the Gen 2 “Blackfly Edition” gun WITH a factory LASER!!!! I know it sounds a little silly but the Gen 2 is far more powerful and with the laser, it is a bug killing beast!! It’s not just flies anymore, pretty much any bug without a serious exoskeleton is no match. I’ve even taken out wasps, though they often take a second shot. The laser changes the game. It’s just point and shoot with perfect accuracy.
If you have a Gen 1 do yourself a favor and get the Gen 2, it’s a big step up in power. If you don’t have a Bug A Salt at all…you are missing out on the best thing since attaching pants to pockets.
+1
A small murmuration of starlings stopped by the bird feeders the other day and began messing with the wife’s favored songbirds. Actually dragged a baby wren out of the nesting box and killed it. Wife said kill ‘em. Got out the pellet pistol, slid open the dining room window, and sat down at the shooting range. Took out 4 of them, but also let in some flies. Wife said kill ‘em. Swapped weapons & ammo, and a teaspoon of table salt later, had accounted for 7 flies. Was a pleasant Saturday afternoon.

Shooting the Bug-A-Salt inside your house??? How many flies did you have, what was attracting them inside your abode, you must be a bachelor??? Ever think about cleaning up the mess??? Probably not….. I’m no longer married…widower….but NOT shooting salt inside my abode. Deck or dock at lake is great range. Shaking head. rolling eyes, thinking “some kinda of special stupid,” pondering in which state you reside……
Hopefully you’re sober now or back on your medication. It was for laughs but you’re obviously either too uptight, overmedicated, undermedicated or some combination thereof to understand that. You do realize it was built for shooting flies inside or out right? You’re worried about a tiny bit of salt getting in your house? That’s what brooms and vacuums are for.
You probably don’t get the occasional fly in your padded room tucked safely away from reality. It’s cool they let you play on the internet sometimes though.
the bug a salt ammo delivers a healthier charge with each shot. i think they tumble polish the granules. so, rather than free it’s only cheap.
