TTAG writer Chris Dumm and his BFFs (Best Firearms Friends) are heading out to a secret location deep in the Washington woods this weekend to test the FN SCAR 16S. And an ArmaLite M15. And AK of some sort or description. We’ll have reviews of each gun and an an apples-to-oranges-to-fruit-roll-up modern home defense sporting assault rifle shoot-out. And a few other editorial bites at these succulent ballistic cherries. It’s all part of TTAG’s New Year’s commitment to its readers: gun reviews. That’s it. We promise to publish lots and lots of no-holds-barred gun reviews. So . . . Happy New Year!
Nice. The review was organized, detailed and succinct in its presentation. Good job! In my humble opinion.
“We’ll have reviews of each gun and an an apples-to-oranges-to-fruit-roll-up modern home defense sporting assault rifle shoot-out.”
I hate to be repetitive…many of us use AR’s for hunting as well as home defense and sport shooting. Not hating on you I’m just saying.
Spare no words. Looking forward to the review. Note that soccom has said ‘no’ to the 17L but ‘yes’ to the 17H, of which they have already bought thousands. First things first. Only with the 17H can you later equip yourself with both 5.56 and 7.62 kits.
