Hillary Clinton just can’t help herself. Never mind that her tone-deaf demand for gun control caused gun owners to come out in record numbers to deny her an all-but-assured White House victory in 2016. Now she’s doubling down.

Five years on, she’s still spitting vitriol at Americans. She still wants to punish freedom-loving Americans instead of criminals. She’s still shouting from her place in the political wilderness to ban the modern sporting rifle (MSR) and she’s still out of touch with Americans across the country.

Clinton, whose White House loss was in no small part due to Americans rejecting her demands to re-enact the failed “assault weapons” ban, is resurrecting her gun control demands. She’s doing it with usual Clinton disdain and disrespect.

The same former presidential candidate who labeled Americans who rejected her platform as a “basket of deplorables,” now derides those who value their constitutionally-protected rights as “shameless” and “gun worshipers.”

Clinton made the vile accusations on a podcast called “Just Something About Her,” hosted by her former campaign communications director Jennifer Palmieri.

“You know, democracy is the balancing of interests and rights, and unfortunately at this time, the gun worshipers have a huge advantage because of the filibuster and because of their shameless exploitation of people’s unwarranted fears,” Clinton said.

Clinton’s swipe at the filibuster is ironic since she tried to use the tactic to deny U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito confirmation to the bench. She also voted to filibuster the repeal of the “death tax.” Now, for matters of Constitutional rights — specifically those Clinton would prefer to eliminate, if not weaken — she’s all for dumping it.

Democracy and Rights

Clinton speaks in terms of “democracy,” purposefully forgetting that America is a republic. Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence and America’s second president made the distinction clear that democracy isn’t a “balancing of interests and rights.”

He warned, “A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”

Pure democracy would be madness. The Founders knew this. Benjamin Franklin famously answered the question at the Constitutional Convention of whether delegates produced a republic or a monarchy with, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

That’s exactly what U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) hinged his “ridiculous theater” rebuttal of Democratic senators who demanded gun bans and strict gun control in the wake of the horrific murders in Boulder, Colorado.

“What happens in this committee after every mass shooting is Democrats proposed taking away guns from law-abiding citizens because that’s their political objective,” he added. “The jurisdictions in this country with the strictest gun control have among the highest rates of crime and murder. When you disarm law-abiding citizens, you make them more likely to be victims.”

Sen. Cruz nailed it. He invoked what Jefferson warned. The rights of the 49 percent shouldn’t be surrendered to the mob wishes of the 51 percent.

Pivot and Insult

Clinton didn’t care. Her disdain for a republic is matched only by her loathing of the Second Amendment and those who would defend it.

“The opportunists on the other side, like Cruz and his ilk,” Clinton said, “they know better and they are in the position of trying to keep people really riled up and scared that sensible gun legislation like we had in the ‘90s for 10 years will somehow undermine their rights.”

Catch that? “His ilk.” Gun worshipers. Basket of deplorables. Interests and rights.

“Well, what about the rights of all the rest of us?” Clinton added. “The rights of us to go to work, go shopping, go on dates to the movie theater, go to school, for heaven’s sake — what about the rest of us?”

Clinton would rather deny those going to work, shopping or on dates their constitutionally-protected rights to keep and bear arms to protect themselves against the vicious criminals who prey on innocent lives.

She doesn’t get it and doesn’t want to. Gun control in the Senate doesn’t even have all 50 Democratic senators on board. Clinton just wants to rip up the Second Amendment along with the filibuster.

      • F@#k that murdering hag.. No one gives a shit what she thinks.. she can.go jump off a cliff, we would party on!

        • F the murdering hag and the State Department she rode in on.
She’s a rich hypocrite and didn’t have a problem running arms out of Libya with her RINO pal John McCain. When that game was over she left people to die, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, who was an unfortunate Clinton donor and supporter turned expendable bagman.

    • I might not be self aware, I’ll grant you that. But I’m not self deceived either.

That woman’s got the 7 Year Itch.

      • Uh…think you meant……That woman’s got the 70-year BITCH.
There, fixed it for you. You’re welcome.

She should have worked harder at keeping that pedophile, woman abusing husband of her’s on a shorter chain. Then, taking another look at her, one can almost understand Billy’s behavior.

      • She takes petty, vindictive, and spiteful to new levels.

Any bets she has lists of voters ready for her righteous wrath?

    • Please, please dear Hillary……do a RBG ASAP. Got my dancin’ shoes on and my bladder is bursting full!!!!

Proud as a peacock to be her concept of DEPLORABLE…..Badge of Honor!!!!

    • I am fully self aware that I am despised by the left in that I am a white, middle class, veteran, conservative and church goer let alone I am an owner of the dreaded black rifle.

    • Hard to tell if you’re truly trolling or not, but, I will say, I see both sides. There are certain elements of gun culture, as is often the case with any die-hard supporters of anything, that I really find it hard to stand behind (and often don’t stand behind or agree with at all). At the same time, I don’t like that people place universal statements on all gun owners, as if we don’t live in the same country, walk the same streets, shop in the same stores and send our children to the same schools, and value the life, liberty, and opportunity for others to pursue happiness as much as non-gun owners. No one likes to be referred to in such a way. Every one of the gun owners I know are kind, gentle, compassionate people because those are the kind of people I associate with, and I avoid people that aren’t. I know that a lot of people don’t think it’s possible for gun owners to be any of those things, and I think it just goes to show how misinformation can harmfully polarize our society. I try to set the best example I can, and if folks can’t or won’t appreciate that, it won’t stop me from continuing as I have in the past: treating people the way I would want to be treated and respecting others even when I disagree with them. If anyone thinks that’s a rare stance in gun owners, they must not know many of us.

      • “At the same time, I don’t like that people place universal statements on all [fill in the blank].”

Me either, but that’s what prejudiced people do.

      • So I gather we cannot count upon you as a die-hard supporter of liberty and the Constitution then?

It’s not like this is anything new, correct?

        • Die-hard supporter? If you are asking if I support the constitution, of course. If you believe that I have to result to paranoid bully-tactics, no. You’ll just have to accept me as someone who consistently brings folks into the 2a fold by showing them that we’re not all a bunch of foaming, needlessly aggressive, posturing dude-bros. Or not. Not concerned either way.

    • Jsled tucks his junk between his legs to fit the panties his dom bought for him.

  1. That woman is a boil on the butt of humanity. I thank the God she doesn’t believe in that she is dead politically.

    • I grew up with a kid named Lance Boyle – no kiddin’. Skin like a baby’s butt.

    • “That woman is a boil on the butt of humanity.”

I’ll up that to “A boil on the ‘taint’ of humanity”… 😉

  2. I’d like to take that woman out for a nice chicken dinner – and then never call her again.

  3. Can’t blame her, ever been to a gun show? This will be hard for some of you to hear but the gun culture is pretty unappetizing.

    • What gun show did you go to? Ive been to dozens…usually all ages, sexes, races etc enjoying comparing the quality of wares. No different than any other show.

      • Go to the NRA Annual Convention where 80,000+ freedom loving Americans get together. Always polite, engaging, friendly, courteous, very diverse gender/race/faith/finances. The only trouble ever is the snowflakes and Libtard losers demonstrating outside….and being ignored, irrelevant. Talk to any of the police working security at the Convention. They will confirm they love working those shows……never any trouble, threats, discourteous behavior……like a vacation for them. They love walking the show floor…..15 acres of guns and gear……seeing the wares and engaging with the participants……and being thanked for their service.

        • Outstanding analogy. I went to one years ago in Houston. Some of the best people in the world attending. Very nice to be among like minded people!

    • Can’t believe you actually went to one so maybe it lived up to your expectations. Yep, GUNS, that is what the show is about. The crowd won’t miss Megaduke.

    • I’m pretty certain from that comment that *you* have never been to a gun show. I bought my wife a concealed carry purse at one, and around 6 months later one end of the strap came off, it had only been tacked, never stitched. Next show, probably 9 months from the purchase, I walked back in and handed it to the vendor, and he handed me a new one, without either of us saying a single word, he didn’t even examine it, much less ask for a receipt. Honesty, honor, friendship, openness, shoot, my teenage kids loved those shows. I guess you must just like the feeling of being stabbed in the back.

  4. It’s unsurprising that a woman who has never liked guns and always had a high opinion of herself while having a low opinion of anyone who disagrees with her… continues to do so.

I would however point out that this isn’t just her being silly. Clinton does have people who follow her and take her seriously.

The main thing here isn’t the 2A per se, but rather a concerted attempt to build support (and/or take a sounding) in regards to elimination of the filibuster. This is just part of the sales pitch.

Politicians don’t care why people support something the pols want to do. They only care that people do. This is an attempt at “broadening the base” of support against the filibuster by having a different person present a different argument.

If the Democrats can reach a majority or a very substantial plurality by cobbling together a coalition of people who want the filibuster eliminated then they will probably move to do so. What specific issue people might support being advanced by said elimination doesn’t matter, it’s the support that does. So, collectively they’ll promise everything under the sun will be accomplished by getting rid of the filibuster and see if they can get people to support it.

You can see this kind of thing elsewhere. According to Rasmussen’s latest, approximately 44% of people support a “Covid Passport” for domestic travel and normal life stuff (like you can’t go to the grocery store without it).

If one steps back and thinks about that, it’s just a medical excuse for CCP style “social credit scoring” as a singular entity. Now, there’s been some minimal polling on that in the past in the US and it’s never done well, like 5% IIRC. This is proposing the same thing for a different reason (one which people manifestly do not understand and have an irrational fear of) and they’ve managed to pop the numbers up like 8.8x by changing the sales pitch.

It’s that +880% that they’re fishing for here.

    • strych9,

The main thing here isn’t the 2A per se, but rather a concerted attempt to build support (and/or take a sounding) in regards to elimination of the filibuster. This is just part of the sales pitch.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I read that article.

Saying it another way, Democrats are hoping that firearms restrictions will be a sufficient rationale for eliminating the filibuster in the U.S. Senate and enable Democrats to go after their real prize (whatever that might be — which probably isn’t firearms restrictions although Democrats will gladly take that of course).

      • The real prize is HR1/S1 the enshrining Democrat election cheating forever bill. It’s probably unconstitutional but who can trust any judge after the last election.

      • I would doubt that they believe they’re really concerned that “firearms restrictions will be sufficient” rationale. It’s more that they’re thinking it’s part of what puts them over the top. These folks are nothing if not fairly perceptive about how and where they’ve successfully manipulated people in the past and how they’ve gotten away with it.

They’ve noticed two things about forming a coalition. First, it gets you where you want to go and second, if it’s well established and, provided that it doesn’t contain groups that are openly hostile to each other, it tends to make a significant counter-strike very difficult because the opposition has to peal away groups to claw their way back to a majority and this is hard to do.

The goal here is to shrink the size of the majority required for real, honest one party rule where they can do whatever they want without concern for the consequences much like Mexico from 1929 to 2000. But unlike Mexico, I doubt these people are just corrupt. They’re essentially a bunch of wannabe dictatorial Communists.

Regardless of the politics you can see something similar in a lot of places. I’ll just stick with guns, and civil rights: One way is in the way that cops talk about raids that are questionable. When such a thing happens the cops give a list of things they’ve confiscated but which the media has convinced people are questionable. Stack enough together and a majority doesn’t ask questions like “Wait, you shot someone to death and nothing on this list is remotely illegal!?”. Then they wait months for everything to die down before quietly noting that, oops, this was a fuckup.

A raid that nets an “arsenal of guns”, “large amount of ammunition”, “large amount of cash”, “prescription drugs” and “numerous digital storage devices” will generally go unquestioned by the majority. There’s nothing illegal in that list but… a lot of people see it as sketchy and therefore assume the person “must” have done something and this is all legit. No need for public oversight, that’s like work and shit… back to Netflix. (Which, btw is exactly how the school system went down the shitter 40 damn years ago.) Even where POTG notice the issues with the guns and ammo, dat cash tho… and dat pain medication… obviously the guy got what was coming. Same with home invasions. Lots of people right here have said that they’re “obviously dealing drugs” without bothering to note how often Asians are victims of this which is mostly because criminals are looking for cash and Asians have a reputation for not trusting banks and therefore having large amounts of untraceable…cash to be stolen.

But a recent example; You can see exactly this in the FBI/DEA joint raid on safety deposit boxes in Cali last week. Blanket warrant, confiscate everything, now if you want your stuff back you have to prove that it’s legally acquired by which they mean prove that you 1) bought it legally and 2) that you legally acquired the means to buy this stuff. Which is to say, they want you to not just voluntarily submit to, but rather provide your own, forensic accounting of how you got this gold or that gun or this stack of cash. All they had to do was claim “drugs!” to the right judge and they can do whatever they want.

And they’re doing it without even alleging a crime at this point. They don’t even know who was renting most of these boxes, and they openly admit that. How could they have evidence that the box contains yet more evidence of a crime when they don’t know what’s in it or who owns that stuff… ask very few people. And, if history is any guide when it comes to those who have done nothing wrong, likely with the DEA involved, the gov will still keep 60% of the value too, in exchange for years of wrangling and an NDA on the part of the lawful owners.

That’s some banana republic shit right there. The kind of thing that gets Maduro moist as fuck. But Americans like it too, or at least don’t care enough to bother actually holding these agencies accountable. What percentage of people are going to defend your right to keep entirely legal stuff in an anonymous safety deposit box? Like none. It’s drugs or terror or whatever the fuck Karen’s worried about today. The rights of people who happened to have some stuff in those boxes? Fuck their rights. Say it with me, like most of America says openly or tacitly: “FUCK THEIR RIGHTS!”. Because [insert excuse to trample the BoR here because it’s scary and/or I don’t like it].

Americans, by and large, don’t give a fuck about rights or morals or ethics. They’ve been coddled too long, fed a diet of bullshit and fast food and dumbed down by media and shitty education. And POTG are no different, really. Heck, have a home invasion and for a long time and a goodly portion of TTAG’s comment section would immediately accuse of you of being a drug dealer. Got cash? Another portion thought you were up to no good.

Playing on people’s normalcy bias and the perceptions that have crafted in their head is powerful. I mean, shit, there’s quite a few people here who are actually in favor of major anti-gun policies and don’t realize it. Interestingly, they love guns, but they also love the exact polices that the grabbers use to promote gun control. Mostly they just don’t realize they’ve been manipulated into doing this. Tricked into cutting off their own nose to spite their face, and manipulated SO well that they’ll smile and talk about the BoR while they undermine the very thing they’re claiming to support.

So, all in all, the Dems just applying the same concepts that have been applied elsewhere with virtually no resistance because people don’t actually care about other people’s rights. They only care about their own and only when they’re violated. There’s a poem about this. Translated into Americanese: “Something, something when they came for me there was no one left to speak.”

But don’t worry, I’m sure the 3’pers will ride to the rescue and save the Republic. Any minute now. Just wait for it…. wait for it…

        • “You can see exactly this in the FBI/DEA joint raid on safety deposit boxes in Cali last week.”

Yeah, that raised an eyebrow of mine. I wasn’t even aware that type of ‘anonymous service’ was available.

From my POV, that company was practically daring the Feds to raid them, by hyping the anonymous part so aggressively. But I wonder, is that type of service really necessary for the underworld, when the standard bank types are so common?

If I needed to stash money and drugs, I’d make an ‘arrangement’ with an extended family member to rent the damn thing and then load-unload as necessary…

      • That’s the nugget of truth partially hidden within the usual anti-gun blather. The Democrats want to eliminate the filibuster when used against them and reinstate it whenever they need it. Personally I don’t listen to any rot coming out of her mouth.

    • “If the Democrats can reach a majority or a very substantial plurality by cobbling together a coalition of people who want the filibuster eliminated then they will probably move to do so.”

Agreed, and I expect them to ‘turn up the heat’ with rhetoric like that in order to do.

And it’s only gonna get worse once they start seeing polling numbers for the upcoming mid-terms not showing them what they want to see. That frightens them and breeds *desperation*, and desperate people are apt to do dangerous and unpredictable things when they see their grip on power slipping away…

      • Honestly, I think we’re one major cancer diagnosis (Pelosi or Schumer) away from them throwing caution to the wind entirely but maybe not.

It’s moderately amusing how they could just take what they openly state they’ve desired for a long time. That path is obvious. My only question is why they don’t just do it. It’s not like anyone’s going to actually stop them.

But then thieves and assassins rarely make bold moves in daylight I guess. Perhaps they just don’t feel comfortable enough yet with openly flouting their lack of fucks to give and would prefer a few million more illegals given amnesty to pad their stats and 100% ensure victory. They’re certainly saving some political capital, in a big way, for… something. At this point I doubt it’s gun control, that’s small potatoes at this point.

        • ” They’re certainly saving some political capital, in a big way, for… something. At this point I doubt it’s gun control, that’s small potatoes at this point.”

          Yeah, that’s concerning.

Check out what just popped up on the ‘Zero Hedge’, it’s *interesting* :

“Supreme Court Justice Thomas Suggests Facebook, Twitter Could Be Regulated Like Utilities”

(TTAG’s webcode destroys posts of mine with html, for some reason…)

          Fascinating, don’t you think? 😉

        • I’ve seen that story there and elsewhere. I doubt anything will happen. Previous experience suggests that the Democrats controlling the various committees that have some form of oversight for Big Tech will use the continued threat of regulation to ensure compliance from these companies. Compliance “of the right kind”, that is the censorship the Left desires.

Far more interesting IMHO is this:

          https://www.politico.com/news/2021/03/30/democrats-budget-reconciliation-478426

And the follow up that the Parliamentarian says they’re good to go on this, resulting in some interesting other news bits about how the Democrats are already planning to use the ability to reconcile multiple budget items per year.

But really, the ZH article of the day, outside of investing is this:

          https://www.zerohedge.com/crypto/88-years-ago-today-fdr-banned-gold-will-bitcoin-ban-be-next

Ignore the gold and crypto bits. This is the meat of it, which echos exactly what I’ve been saying for years:

“The underlying legislation that evoked by FDR’s Executive Order was the Trading with the Enemy Act of 1917 – a byproduct of WWI – despite the fact US was in no way in a period of war in 1932. Similarly, we have seen War on Terror-inspired financial legislation increasingly be used against American citizens. For example, in the name of “fighting terrorism” the US Patriot Act significantly increased Know Your Customer laws, empowering Federal regulators to use the traditional banking system to better track the economic behavior of American citizens.

In the eyes of the Federal government, “anti-terrorism” legislation was quickly expanded to include additional missions – such as stopping money laundering and drug crimes. Increasingly, these boogeymen have used by policymakers around the world to erode financial privacy assets – such as cash and secret Swiss bank accounts.

On the domestic side, we have increasingly seen US corporate actors demonstrate their loyalty to the progressive political zeitgeist by pro-actively cracking down on various dissident political figures and conservative action groups. Bank of America, for example, has de-banked various gun manufacturers and also turned over client data following the January 6th protests at the US Capitol. These moves could prove useful if BoA needs another federal bailout from a Biden-Harris administration, but highlights the degree to which the modern financial system can easily be weaponized against a state’s political enemies.” [Emphasis mine.]

As I’ve said for a long time, like the entire half a decade I’ve been here, this is bigger than the 2A. It’s a package deal and these people are actively making inroads to light the whole fucking box on fire. Meanwhile, a goodly number of “POTG” support them because they don’t see how things that were “good” have been corrupted and weaponized against US citizens.

        • “It’s a package deal and these people are actively making inroads to light the whole fucking box on fire.”

It could do just that, with the major banks instituting (for all practical purposes), what China is doing with their ‘Social Credit’ and how that’s gonna directly impact the folks that don’t like them.

The real evil with that system is that private companies will be doing the dirty work, and selectively ‘volunteering’ information to the Feds.

Dystopia is coming right at us…

    • If Hillary Clinton is the sales pitch, you don’t want to experience the complaints department.

  5. She is a disgrace to our great country. Her and Jane Fonda go to the same hair dresser.
    Oh!!!! Don’t forget Bengazi??????????????????/

    • And the private email server whose contents are spread from Tehran to Pyongyang, and Moscow and Beijing as well.

  6. The goal of a rapist enabler like Hillary Clinton is to ensure that rape victims cannot shoot her husband. When he tries to forced himself on to them.
And the modern day feminist movement are also rapists enablers. They also want rape victims disarmed.

  7. If Hilary Clinton had to walk the streets of Trenton or Baltimore or Detroit without private security people protecting her, we’d probably be saved from having to listen to that fat lying bitch ever again…..get a taste of reality….oh, defund the police, Hilary!!

    • Judi, If Hillary had to walk the streets of Trenton,Baltimore or Detroit the other street walkers would squash her like a bug.

    • That brings up something I’ve wondered about. Does HRC have Secret Service protection? I mean, she and Bill are rarely in the same state, near as I can tell, he was the President but she was not. Seems he should have their assistance procuring women, but she should be on her own. But I suspect she has coverage. Anybody know?

  8. Who cares? She’s a milk carton with last month’s date. Unless she’s running for office again, she’s a has been that can happily be ignored. After Epstein and MeToo, even lefties know what a creep Bill is, and that she enabled that behavior for her own benefit.

    • They already knew Bill was a creep and Hillary was an enabler. Those hypocrites were willing to overlook that as long as the agenda was pushed.

  9. She confuses what Americans worship. Freedom is what we worship. Firearms are just the means to keep it.

    • Shes not confused. She knows exactly what she is doing. Every great dictator does.

  10. I never will understand why Hillary chose to go into politics when she had such a promising career in modeling.
Perhaps it had something to do with a donkey?

    • “I never will understand why Hillary chose to go into politics when she had such a promising career in modeling.”

The work came to her via Willie…

  11. The attacks on Second Amendment are not going to end until the communists have succeeded in its nullification and subsequent enslavement of the American people.

It only takes an hours research to learn of the long established communist plans to takeover the US and how successful the communists have been. The direction of America has been consistantly driven by liberalism and the communist playbook for America. It matters little which way one votes. It is the Deep State that determines the future direction of government. The Deep State is boosted when communists are elected, but continues at flank speed when the RINOS are in office. At the moment Biden has accelerated the communist takeover to insure a total takeover by his terms end.

Unless Americans fight this communist takeover with everything they have and all their power America will fall. One leg is already over the cliff.

  12. JB….well stated. There was a 45 point plan by the Communists to take over America without firing a shot. No longer a plan, it is virtually a complete checklist.

The list of 45 communist goals contained in the ~1958 book “Naked Communist” was read into the Congressional Record (Appendix, pp. A34-A35) by U.S. Congressman Albert S. Herlong, Jr. of Florida, on January 10, 1963. This is the plan to overtake America without firing a shot. As Russian Premier Nitka Khrushchev once said, “……America will fall into our hands like over ripe fruit.”second Amendment is the only obstacle remaining in their road to a Socialist/Communist America.
List is no longer a “TO DO” list, but, today, is a “DONE” checklist. I believe, the
-Take over one or both of the major political parties. DONE (Both Ds and Rs are complicit.)
-Take over the media. DONE (Control the information…propaganda)
-Take over the entertainment industry, DONE
-Take over the educational system, DONE (Lenin said, Give me the children and I will transform the country.)
-Destroy the family unit DONE (1960’s Johnson Adm began welfare to mothers with dependent children…….with the stipulation that there be an absence of a male figure in the home. Goodbye Father; Hello Baby Daddy.)
-Destroy nation’s history. DONE (Destroy historical leaders, statutues of same; revise history taught in schools.)
    -Destroy artistic standards…..DONE
-Destroy free speech (conservative, anti-communism)…..In Process

    -DONE -DONE -DONE -DONE
    PLOP….like over ripe fruit.

Reminder of what Khrushchev said 60 years ago….”Your children’s children will live under communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright; but, we will keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you will finally wake up and find you already have Communism. We will not have to fight you. We will so weaken your economy, until you will fall like overripe fruit into our hands. The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not” It was September 29, 1959, when Nikita Khrushchev delivered his prediction for America at the United Nations. Remember the television coverage of him banging his shoe on the podium? At that time, just the word “communism” was feared throughout our nation. Remember this. Socialism leads to Communism How do you create a Socialist State? There are eight levels of control:
    1) Healthcare – Control healthcare and you control the people
    2) Poverty – Increase the poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them.
    3) Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
    4) Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the government . That way you are able to create a police state.
    5) Welfare – Take control of every aspect (food, housing, income) of their lives because that will make them fully dependent on the government.
    6) Education – Take control of what people read, listen to and take control of what children learn in school.
    7) Religion – Remove the belief in God from the government and schools because the people need to believe in ONLY the government knowing what is best for the people.
8)Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. Eliminate the middle class. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to tax the rich with the support of the poor.
ALL EIGHT of those levels are already being implemented by Democrats.

Socialism is to Communism as Stage III cancer is to Stage IV cancer.

Norman Thomas, the six-time Socialist Party candidate for U.S. President said in 1944 speech, “I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democratic Party has adopted our platform. The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of “liberalism,” they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened….” And, today, the Republican Party RINOs have adopted it as well. It is no longer a situation of “enemy in the wire”. Today….and for several decades….the enemy sits in the Command Post. America has been overrun.
As Nikita Krushshev said in 1954, “First, we will take Eastern Europe, then the masses of Asia, then we will encircle the United States which will be the last bastion of capitalism. We will not have to attack. It will fall like an over ripe fruit into our hands.” In 1960, Krushchev stated, “We cannot expect Americans to jump from capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving Americans small doses of socialism until they suddenly awake to find they have Communism.”

The old Soviet Union may have fallen; but, Krushchev’s statements are ringing true as we look at the changes that have taken place and are taking place in the US today. No longer does Socialism or Communism hold a stigma to be hidden away. Politicians are now openly campaigning on that oppressive platform and winning in some areas.

The following scenario descirbes today’s politicians.
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”
An excerpt from “A Pillar of Iron” by Taylor Caldwell depicting the spirit of ancient Rome in its last days of glory. The hero of the story, the man called “a pillar of iron” is Marcus Tullius Cicero, the lawyer-statesman who tried vainly to save the republic he loved from the forces of tyranny.

The new agenda for humanity requires that no one will have the capacity to fight back. It has been said: “Our Task of creating a Socialist America can only succeed when those who would resist us have been totally disarmed.” No other explanation is possible. Welcome to “common sense” gun control.
History has repeatedly demonstrated that disarming good people in the name of making bad people harmless only eventually facilitates politicians shooting their own countrymen. History…learn from it or be doomed to relive it….or die by it.

  13. Hillary Clinton is but a closed-minded out of touch washed up politician / lawyer of any furthering significance desperate to maintain relevance. Being a politician is a huge strike against her let alone being a lawyer but those two strikes combined is indicative of an untrusted two-face liar and that’s BEFORE having the name CLINTON. Hillary, like others riding the anti-gun wagon, including puppet Gabby Giffords, David Hogg is simply on an illusionary magic carpet for the mainstream media’s fairy-tale hour. Few are actually duped by it.

  14. O.K. So who among us really gives a rat’s ass what “Hitlery” thinks, says, or feels about ANYTHING, now (or ever for that matter?) Show of hands… Anyone?… That’s what I thought. Case closed, moving on now. Enjoy your your ‘golden’ years in political obscurity, “Hitlery!”
