Prosecutors say 26-year-old James Lombardi was sentenced to five years and 10 months in prison as well as three years of probation on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Lombardi pleaded guilty in July. Authorities say he was arrested last December about three weeks after acquiring a stolen 12-gauge shotgun. He told investigators at the time that he needed the gun because of his “lifestyle,” which included running the escort service. He said he needed the weapon in the event of problems with male clients.
