Post the black dude next. I think he’s very indicative of gun culture 2.0 or whatever. Younger, more socially liberal, smarter, and more numerous. 😀
…not that this guy isn’t any of the above. 🙂
Excellent. Thanks for speaking out, James!
Thanks James!
Likewise, James. Glad to see you here.
Good going James, there isn’t anything on there that runs counter to my beliefs, Randy
These “owner” posts are creepy and need to end…
On the contrary, I think the need for them increases with the chorus of anti-gun voices that seek to stereotype gun owners. It’s part of an ongoing PR battle for people who may not be gun owners, but who are open to upholding our Constitutional rights and the 2A. I also believe these owner posts have done a lot to show the community that we do have a voice, and that many people are willing to speak out in favor of gun rights.
May I refer you to RF’s recent note:
http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/01/robert-farago/housekeeping-a-quick-note-about-the-i-am-a-gun-owner-series/
Note also that the IAAGO posts are specifically mentioned in the Washington Post profile on RF & TTAG. I’d say that’s a sign that the message is working.
It’s PR alright… and it’s going to be bad PR. These pictures are just odd — the random statements about the lives they lead ending with “the truth about guns.” Most of the people have serial killer stares…
What does a serial killer stare look like? I think these posts work to show people that we aren’t just OFWG’s. You don’t have to read them JB.
Thanks for standing up, James!
How do you know god doesn’t exist? How do believers know he does? Is there a website somewhere he moderates?
