Angel L. Crespo lives in Worcester, Massachusetts. Just like security guard turned Walgreen’s hero Harry, J. McCullough, Mr. Angel L. Crespo’s chances of receiving the state’s permission to carry a weapon are now, effectively, zero. Both men were caught carrying guns without having a permit to do so. Even if Mr. Crespo’s didn’t have a record, his failure to wait three years to apply for a gun permit (minimum age 21), and his recent arrest for carrying a firearm without a license and disorderly conduct, means he’ll never be a legal Bay State gun owner. Regardless how you or the Supreme Court feel about former felons right to bear arms (watch for the McDonald case this summer), a responsible gun owner is a legal gun owner. While you may not agree with the rules governing firearms in your state, failure to obey them gives ammunition to those who consider all gun owners irresponsible. You have a responsibility to promote the idea of responsible gun owners, so that you can continue to be one. If you know what I mean.
