 Harrisburg, Pa. IWI US, Inc., a subsidiary of Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) Ltd., and producers of the 2014 American Rifleman “Rifle of the Year” TAVOR® SAR, are now expanding their manufacturing capabilities by producing cold-hammer forged barrels for themselves and OEM customers in the United States. The IWI US barrel producing facility is using brand new GFM cold hammer forging machinery producing barrels with tighter tolerances than many currently on the market today. Barrel blanks are precision machined, drilled and honed to exacting standards on state-of-the-art deep hole drilling and honing machines. Having the benefit of IWI Israel’s over 50 years’ experience in manufacturing precision MIL-SPEC barrels, IWI US is already lined up to  start producing AR-15 and M4 barrels for several leading US firearms manufacturers.

      • Until our douche bag governor gets tired of destroying the gas, oil, and coal industries and moves on to guns. He has shown repeatedly that he is in perfect step with the president.

  1. Is that a third hole I see on that Galil? Ooops. I want one of the new Galils, but I think I’ll settle for the Galil kit I have sitting here and build it instead. It will take AR mags and be 5.56. Should be fun!

  2. Can any of the gunsmiths here clue me as to how, after beating the crap out of the barrel with the mandrel inside, how the hell do they get the mandrel back out?

    Heat the barrel red and hope it drops out?
