Trijicon has recently been contacted by many people with concern about an article written by a Jim Darnell entitled “Production of the AR-15 sporting rifles is a big mistake “. We, at Trijicon, share your concern about this article, as it attacks one of the most fundamental rights of all Americans.
Please know that Trijicon has no direct connection to Mr. Darnell or any of his television or writing activities. The confusion is understandable because Trijicon does support a Christian radio ministry called “God’s Great Outdoors“, hosted by Gerry Caillouet. While Mr. Darnell has served on the advisory board for the God’s Great Outdoors ministry, we have been assured that Trijicon’s support of the ministry does not support Mr. Darnell’s activities. Mr. Darnell’s television program and writing activities are not associated with the ministry of God’s Great Outdoors. Let me repeat: Trijicon has no connection to Jim Darnell or any of his activities.
Trijicon fully supports the use of the AR-15 firearm for hunting, sports shooting, competition shooting, personal defense or any other use. We firmly uphold the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms granted to us by the Founding Fathers of this great country.
