“Former Philadelphia Eagles WR Josh Huff was charged with possession of a handgun and having a small amount of marijuana after he was pulled over for speeding on the Walt Whitman Bridge,” NJ2as.org reports. “Huff is getting 6 months of probation and, if he stays out of trouble, the charge will be wiped from his record. However, Meg Fellenbaum, neither famous nor rich, is facing seven years in prison for having her guns legally locked in the trunk of her car.” That said, hollow points! Hollow justice? Something like that . . .

    • also New Jersey is one of the top 5 worst states in the country. It’s a horrible state, don’t go there, don’t give them a dime of your money.

      • Drove through it once on one of my very few trips to NYC. Stopped at a decaying Howard Johnson’s perched on a salt-flat ((not kidding). Guy behind the counter in a dirty apron says, “Whadda youse wants?”. Got out of that place—the east coast—as quickly as I could. Ain’t going back. Ever.

  1. The facts of every case are different and we trust our prosecutors and judges to exercise their skills and judgement in deciding how to prosecute in every situation. Mr. Huff has a long history of community service and made a mistake while Ms. Fellenbaum clearly posed a threat to the citizens of the state and brazenly disregarded NJ gun laws. We support these outcomes 100%.

    • Hey Katy, you are another libtard making excuses for the two sided justice system… it does not matter jack if he did “community service or not, there is a “mandatory minimum” attached to the said gun law… it is put in place so no one, not even the judge, can simply do want they want but once again the rich/elites walk free and the commoners get screwed. You must have voted for Hitlery, because you seem to love how filthy people like her get away with all their criminal BS! BTW about the closest Huff has ever gotten to community service is NEVER!

    • Can defense attorneys cite precedent in sentencing hearings? Any lawyers out there have an answer?

      • I’m not a lawyer.

That said, at trial there is no place for the entry into evidence of other cases’ disposition. I’ve seen a couple of pro-se defendants (representing themselves) try it.

If you appeal on the basis of a Constitutional equal protection clause you could try it… good luck, though, if you’re looking for justice in NJ

  2. I don’t go to New Jersey but if I did I’d make sure to bring enough g uns and am mo to fight my way out.

  3. The account posted about the woman pulled over paints the picture of utterly unconstitutional interrogation and all sorts of other issues.

That said, it is ENTIRELY unsourced. Well, actually, the originating article lists one source- itself(!)- which means they don’t seem to know what ‘sourcing’ means. Months later there is still seemingly nothing anywhere confirming any of those facts except blogs citing each other’s unsourced accounts… and a gofundme account (that got shut down). I can’t find her last name in the criminal case search of Jersey.

But sure, let’s just go with it right?

  4. Sometimes, I think our Union would be better off if New Jersey fell off the eastern seaboard.

This is worse than what happened to Shaneen Allen.

    • Perhaps to maintain balance, California could drop off the western seaboard.

    • It’s not your sexuality. It’s that fact that you chose to place tattoos on your neck, and present yourself like a convict. Just because you date women, doesn’t mean you have to make yourself look like a man, let along look like a male prisoner.
I’m pro-Police, buy NJ cops are pigs and NJ courts are corrupt. F them.

      • These freaks only bring up their “sexuality” so they can use it to falsely accuse others of being “anti-gay”. STFU. No one cares what you and that other fat cow with a bad haircut and neck tattoos do with your private parts. You got yourself in this trouble because you choose to look like a convict and you’re stupid.

    • I can verify that Lisa Queen is listed as an assistant prosecutor for Warren County. However, nothing shows up in a search of the Warren County docket. The file number shown is evidently not the same thing as a Warren County case number, the format is different. Does she have a case number? What’s her lawyer’s name? Is Meghan Fellenbaum her correct legal name?

  5. They call New Jersey the asshole of the world for a reason. Now you understand.

  6. Laws are just another way to extort money from the public. The benefits of being rich is you can pay your way.

  7. Where was the proud white lesbian when Shaneen Allen was going through the NJ meat grinder? Stop your crocodile tears.

    • One thing that both Shaneen Allen and Megan have in common if being female. That fact makes it appear that the justice system in New Jersey is sexist.

    • To be fair, if you aren’t POTG and follow Cam & Co or gun blogs, you’ll have never heard of Shaneen Allen. It’s not like 60 Minutes did a story on the injustice, or Obama had a press conference saying she should be released.

      • Anymouse
Ignorance of the anti-gun, anti-liberty people is no excuse. Local TV and even the Washington Post have done stories about Shaneen Allen. In fact one crazy story writer could not understand “why all these white right wing people” were trying to help a black woman in jail?????

The proud white lesbian needs to spend less time wearing her strap on dildo in public to show how proud she is, and more time paying attention to liberty issues.

Liberty is not telling total strangers who you have sex with or telling them what you do in your bedroom. Homosexuals need to reorient their thinking. They are Progressive Socialist in their political orientation.

  8. What the does “legally locked in the trunk” mean? That’s not a NJ thing, that’s for sure.

She appears to be just as illegal as the Eagles WR. I dont think she’s a NJ resident, she has PA permits. She wasnt just “passing through,” she was visiting her girlfriend’s house. Basically, she was carrying, and we all know what that means in NJ.

If her name is on a lease, or a utility bill, she can make a case that she was transporting between her residences. I havent heard that case made.

The Eagles WR took a plea, and has moved on. She’s electing to fight, as best I can tell. She should expect worse punishment in that scenario.

If she doesnt like it, start voting the issue. Or maybe her girlfriend will vote the issue, since Meg isnt from NJ.
