We reported not long ago about how Vice President Kamala Harris would be one of the most anti-gun presidential candidates of our time if President Joe Biden should bow out and she somehow secure the nomination. Well, she has secured the nomination following a five-day virtual roll call vote. Now, the Democrat presidential hopeful has named a running mate that, as vice president, would be an equally big catastrophe for the Second Amendment.
On Tuesday, Harris named Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate.
“I am proud to announce that I’ve asked @Tim_Walz to be my running mate,” Harris posted on X. “As a governor, a coach, a teacher and a veteran, he’s delivered for working families like his. It’s great to have him on the team. Now let’s get to work.”
There’s no doubt that Walz is as much of a proponent of restrictive gun control schemes as is his possible future boss. In fact, the National Rifle Association immediately released a statement about the selection, detailing Walz’s change of face after he was elected governor.
“Tim Walz is a political chameleon—changing his positions to further his own personal agenda,” said Randy Kozuch, chairman of the NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF). “In Congress, Walz purported to be a friend of gun owners to receive their support in his rural Minnesota district. Once he had his eyes set on other offices, he sold out law-abiding Minnesotans and promoted a radical gun control agenda that emboldened criminals and left everyday citizens defenseless.”
Back in 2009, Walz was one of 65 Democrat Congressmen who signed a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder opposing a ban on so-called “assault weapons.” By 2017, however, Walz had already embraced the Democrat Party line of trying to ban anything possible, and restricting ownership of anything else.
Now the potential next vice president is in favor of a ban on common semi-automatic firearms owned by millions of Americans, so-called “universal” background checks that would include everyone but criminals and so-called “red-flag” laws that can be used to violate lawful gun owners’ right to due process.
In the end, NRA’s Kozuch said that because of Walz’s anti-gun advocacy, he is not fit for the job of vice president.
“Kamala Harris and Tim Walz cannot be trusted to defend freedom and our Constitutional rights,” he said.
If Kozuch’s warning wasn’t strong enough, leave it up to the gun-banners to get the truth out—whether Harris and Walz wish they had or not.
“Governor Walz signed a sweeping package of gun safety bills into law just last year, so it’s no surprise that Vice President Harris, who helped lead the strongest gun safety White House in history, picked him as her running mate,” said John Feinblatt, president of so-called Everytown For Gun Safety. “This election is a life-or-death moment for the clear majority of Americans who are demanding to live free from gun violence. Everytown will go all out to help Vice President Harris and Governor Walz defeat Trump and Vance, whose ‘guns everywhere’ agenda is a dream come true for extremists and criminals.”
Angela Ferrell-Zabala, executive director of Moms Demand Action also gushed over the selection of Walz to be Harris’s running mate.
“Kamala Harris has spent her entire public service career making communities safer, and with Governor Walz as her running mate, she has a partner who shares this fundamental commitment,” Ferrell-Zabala said. “While the Trump-Vance ticket represents danger and extremism, Harris and Walz stand for the future we all deserve. From now until November, we’ll harness the power of our 11 million-strong movement to elect the leaders who will actually fight for a safer America.”

Minor obviously has no real experience with Walz or his policies. I own a fairly large amount of MN lakeshore which has skyrocketed in value over the past 10 years. Walz’s taxation policies are in sync with the Great Reset- make things so cost prohibitive that eventually no one except the most elite will own anything, including homes, vehicles, recreational toys, and the like. We’re not all that far from the breaking point now and I’ve considered selling it all off and trying to find similar digs in WY.
My perm residence (IA) is the polar opposite of MN in all respects. Guns, taxes, wokeness and democrats are all pretty much under control in IA. Conversely, when I pack to move north for the warmer months I always have to be concerned about what guns and toys will still be legal to possess. Walz EO claims no gasoline powered vehicles in MN by 2030. IT’S ALL GONE.
That in itself has nothing to do directly with Walz as many, many potential buyers are from out of state.
But, one factor does go to him: A fairly large number of buyers used to have Fed Govt leases, some used to be 99 years, but latest were 20. Families for generations used the cabins they built on these leased lots, kept them up nicely, made improvements, etc. For decades. They could count on the leases being renewed and things were fine. Real communities.
When the leases have run out over the last decade or so, the Feds, at the urging of Walz, among others, have kicked these people off the lease with no comp for the structures or improvements. They are being replaced by people with no means or ambition to maintain the property and now these areas are quickly becoming burnt out slums or dragged in and abandoned junk mobile homes. There are also no longer lease payments, nor taxes being collected from the properties, where taxes on those of us who own the land are figured by the foot in triple figures. As usual, the taxpayer ends up having to pay for someone else who won’t, or doesn’t need to work, let alone take care of what was literally given to them.
You can praise this moron Walz from afar all you want, Minor- you will find little to no support for him or his and Flanagan’s policies up here, where most people don’t live off the govt dole, in subsidized housing, using govt food, heat, health care, etc.- People Minor and his kind can not relate to- the dwindling middle class that are forced to fund idiot policies that favor bums who will not work to provide for themselves, let alone the feral prodigy they leave living on the streets.

There were already articles, before Joe dropped out, saying that it would take days to count the PA vote. CISA and the FBI just warned that there might be an attack on election infrastructure, but it wouldn’t change election totals. They’re prepping us for it! If Trump is winning the day after the election, no problem! They’ll keep counting until they get the desired result. Why do we bother with electronic voting machines if it’s going to take days to count? It’s a joke.

Are you denying that you routinely post stories about Republicans involved in election fraud? There’s nothing vague about that. You’ve done it multiple times. Whenever I see it, I agree with you that election fraud DOES exist, therefore we should take preventative measures. Yet, Democrats almost always vehemently oppose election integrity measures. Why is that?
We know for a fact that there are illegal immigrants that are registered to vote. We also know that suspect ballots have been counted in election totals. In GA alone, there were 120k ballots that had no creases, and appeared to be printed instead of hand written. All GA officials had to do was release those ballots for public inspection. Yet, they have fought access to them (to this day). Why are they hiding election evidence?
I’ll only link one story since multiple links trip up the moderation system here. Search for: 14% non-citizens registered. You should find the story about interviewing residents of a mostly noncitizen housing complex. 14% admitted to being both a noncitizen and registered to vote. With as many illegal immigrants currently in this country, only 1% of noncitizens either voting, or having someone vote for them could swing an election. Get it?
Now, it still might be difficult for them to vote, depending on the controls in their local jurisdiction. However, if you want to commit election fraud, then one way would be to insert a ballot of someone that isn’t likely to vote. Even newly legal Hispanics aren’t that likely to vote. It’s unlikely that registered illegals would try, unless someone was specifically asking/paying them to do it. Democrats make it so confusing that it’s very possible that an illegal could vote without realizing they were even breaking the law.
That’s why it’s so important to keep clean voter rolls. When you have tens of thousands of extra names on the rolls that don’t vote, someone looking to commit fraud could use them. Conservative groups are constantly suing Democrat states to clean their rolls, which they’re supposed to do, but they don’t for some reason. Why do you think they would be against purging rolls of illegal and inactive names? There’s a reason for all things, Miner.
Finally, you have the SAVE Act. This really gives it away. It’s already illegal for noncitizens to vote. This Act would require proof of citizenship before anyone is registered to vote. Democrats VEHEMENTLY OPPOSED it. Why would they oppose that, Miner? Of course racist Democrats will pretend like black people are too stupid to get proof of citizenship. Since Virginia has a Republican Governor, they’re actually trying to clean up the election process. I’m sure Dems will make it awful as soon they get power again. On Wednesday, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin signed an executive order cementing election security protocols in the state, noting that since he took office Virginia has discovered and removed more than 6,000 noncitizen registered voters from voting rolls.

3. Despite PROMISING his unit and fellow soldiers that he would deploy with them, as soon as they were assigned for deployment to Iraq (and departure was imminent), he cut and ran.
4. His ONLY foreign deployment was to Italy (in a SUPPORT role for the Afghanistan action). Italy was not a war zone, and a “support deployment” for a combat operation is NOT “combat”.
5. He claims he took his deployment after serving his full term (he didn’t, he took retirement to avoid deployment), so he could run for Congress.
6. He NEVER “carried weapons in war”. He TRAINED with weapons, stateside, and was sent IN SUPPORT of a combat operation (in another theater). I would love to see proof that the Stolen Valor LIAR, Walz’, has EVER heard a shot fired in his direction with intent.

Running out on your unit, when they ARE about to be deployed in combat, is the OPPOSITE of ‘service’, and SHOULD BE a source of shame.
