Mark Conlon from Buffalo, NY sends his “My Everyday Carry.”

Somehow I think he’s leaving a few things out, but we’ll take it for what it’s worth.  I have to say, I think he’s the first person I’ve ever seen or known who carry a Beretta APX Centurion pistol.  Hopefully not Mexican style.

And his blade, an SOG Vulcan.

That’s it, folks.

  1. Why feature something so… featureless.

Clearly, this is not the contents of his EDC. It is no doubt part of it, but a lame excuse for an article.

    • Not really an article…..just a re-post from EDC.

Cmon, this is TTAG, articles are at a premium…..especially about reviewing a gun.

    • Well, in all fairness, does anyone around here really give a fuck about his keys or phone…

      • Keys, maybe if they have a tool or something attached to it that make life easier, I’m curious to see it.
Phone case, yeah, from these EDC dumps I found my stick on kickstand/ring for my phone case, it makes life easier.
Holster, nice to see how people are carrying their gun, not all are in a conventional waist band holster.
Light, admin and/defensive use. See what most carry can speak to a light’ durability, reliability, etc.
Belt, are most folks actually using a gun belt? What are cobra belts popular and expensive.
Knives, I know nothing about knives, but seeing the blade design and alloy, fold/fixed says a lot.
Pen, when in restricted areas, e.g. courthouse, what kind of pen are folking carrying, can it be used for self defense.
Spare mag, it seems half the EDC submissions show one.

A picture of a realistic and complete EDC pocket dump is worth a 1000 words. You might see something new that might make life a tad easier and/or increase your chances of surviving whatever life throws at you.

      • That’s what an EDC is… things you carry every day.

Sounds like you don’t give a fuck about EDC in general, so why are you here? If you want to look at pictures of firearms and knives in someone’s palm just hit instagram or google images.

  2. There’s more to talk about what’s not here than what is. On the other hand many carry so much I hope they don’t fall in the creek. Practical is somewhere in the middle.

  3. Interesting that SOG references the M61 in terms of naming the knife yet it somehow does have a Star Trekian feel to it.

Illogical? Ironic? Or is the M61 from otherworldly origins *spooky music*? Quick, call Alex Jones to get to the bottom of this!

  4. TTAG gets triggered if you don’t include a $100 designer belt, custom holster, 3 reloads, and a high speed Rolex flashlight with integrated wifi.

These EDC posts remind me of Joan Rivers at the Oscars asking people “Who are you wearing?”

    • I too have carried a mini vulcan for close to a decade. Perfect size and the handle works perfectly for me. Accidentally broke the tip off a few years ago and ground the end down to function as a small flat blade screw driver. I find that to be more useful than a sharpened point.

  5. Many of these EDC pictures show guns and knives that appear new, out of the box, never used. Even carrying a knife or firearm will give them some wear without use.

    • Ever take a picture of something new you bought? Or… it’s because it’s a small 770×513 picture and its being presented to you online… do you expect to see every hair or spec of CLP? Majority of these pictures are taken with phones as well, and lighting can be an issue too. How exactly can you judge the use of something through a picture with all these variables and not knowing the exact details? Whatever investigative method you use, you should share it.
