Just over a month ago, we told you about an effort our friends at the Kentucky Gun Co. were leading to raise money for the family of Bardstown, Kentucky Officer Brian Ellis who was killed in the line of duty on May 25. They were raffling off a beautiful Henry Rifle and a presentation case. With your help, as well as that of a lot of others, KYGUNCO was able to raise a total of $64,420 for Officer Ellis’s wife and children. Thanks to everyone who was able to contribute.
Congratulations to the winner, and I’m glad that my donation went to a good cause. If I get killed in the one of duty, I would be honored if a gun company did this for me. I hope this positive contribution by the firearms community blesses the family during this time of great loss.
I got the email earlier today. Money well spent and the guy that won the raffle was a retired cop. 62 + thousand raised for the family. Money will not bring back a husband and father but at least the family isn’t left destitute.
Good to hear.
Very good.
Classy video. Best raffle that I have lost.
Same here. Contributed and ok to lose.
Like. Very much.
Class act, KY Gun CO. Good on you Dan for the original post.
