It goes without saying that it’s important to know your local laws. And not just those governing carrying your gun. Cory from Nebraska not only packs an auto knife, but a set of brass knuckles, too. Both are legal there with a concealed carry permit. Just be sure you know what is and isn’t legal where you carry whatever it is you carry. OK?

  1. The concealed weapon exception applies to only apply to CHP handguns except where…

“(1)(b) It is an affirmative defense that the defendant was engaged in any lawful business, calling, or employment at the time he or she was carrying any weapon or weapons and the circumstances in which such person was placed at the time were such as to justify a prudent person in carrying the weapon or weapons for the defense of his or her person, property, or family.”

My (non lawyer) interpretation is that individuals can carry concealed weapons when justified by the job. I’m guessing this exempts guards, bounty hunters, pizza delivery, etc.

Since Cory’s profile lists him as a “Welding Engineer”, he might have a hard time explaining why carrying brass knuckles makes him a “prudent person”.

  2. Laws?

    You mean freedom trespassers?

(semi-joking of course… we all follow MOST laws the red coats have set in place)
