I am constantly amazed at the amount of gun stuff that I don’t know about. You know, when I know about it. After not knowing about it. Who knew that that the caps-lock-and-a-spear-to-boot folks at BLACKHAWK! (who totally stole my redesign of the SERPA holster) had produced a high-cost testosterone fest with plenty of bang-bang and a few FPS-like BANGS! Maximum worrier that I am I’ve put Maximum Warrior in my not-great iOS7 reminder app. Is there anything else gun-related that I should know about? Press release after the jump . . .

NORFOLK, Va. –(Ammoland.com)- “Maximum Warrior 4,” produced by Maxim, and sponsored by BLACKHAWK! for the second consecutive year, is live at MaximumWarrior.com. Returning as host, Karl Erickson has devised more daring challenges and tougher obstacles for ten U.S. Special Operations soldiers as they compete in military-inspired missions for the title of Maximum Warrior.

During each episode, the operators will only have their battle-tested BLACKHAWK! gear and tactical skills to see them through. The first episode will air on Oct. 9.

The trailer is now showing on the Maximum Warrior YouTube Channel. Instructor profiles and warrior profiles for this new season are also available for immediate viewing at MaximumWarrior.com.

New episodes will debut on Wednesdays at MaximumWarrior.com, with the next week’s sneak preview available Fridays on the Maximum Warrior YouTube Channel. The videos will also be available through the MAXIM App on XBOX LIVE.

  1. Ha, a lot BLACKHAWK! stuff is made in Vietnam nowadays and is not generally in use with SOF. (Save SERPAs) The concept of having single guys go head-to-head is also a little strange, given the generally team oriented nature of the stuff they do.. Oh reality show drama.

However, they also get to keep the SCARs, M&Ps, and Leupold scopes they use.

    • The dynamic between the guys is pretty funny though, ripping on each other as is to be expected. “As long as the SEAL doesn’t win, it doesn’t matter.” etc.

  2. Another piece of media I have never heard about, fortunately it doesn’t sound like I’m missing much. When I watched top shot I would only watch the challenges and skip through the rest. It will be nice if we gain some new young people to the pro gun camp.
