  10. I’m reminded of decorating the interior of my vehicle with shotgun shell Christmas lights for a long ago patrol. Good memories. Enjoy the time with your families.

    • Christmas was always the toughest time to be away from home. For all those past and present that went outside the wire regardless of the season. Thank you and best wishes for a peaceful day.

      I made a Christmas day patrol with a ginormous candy cane adorning the front of my kit. Everything was green except that red and white barber pole looking piece of junk food.
