Mr. Crabs, a military guy (thank you for your service) shares his “Updated EDC” via Everyday Carry.

Put him down as a GLOCK guy with his 43X.  With an extra mag.  Carried in a G-Code IWB tuckable holster.  One of the Haley Strategic variety for those keeping track.

He wrote:

Recently purchased a new carry gun and made some changes to my pocket gear so I decided to post. Hit me with any questions.

Throw in a Microtech Troodon (sp?) auto and an Uzi-style tactical pen (I love mine) and he’s got it going on. Doubly so with the Burt’s Bees lip balm.  Because chapped lips suck, right?

Well, he asks us to hit him with questions:  Mr. Crabs, where’s your light?

Anyone else got any questions?  Perhaps about that challenge coin?

    • Says explosives specialist. No clue otherwise.
I like my Uzi pen also.
The rest is nice. Is that an appendix carry holster?

      • From what I saw of his challenge coin, Mr. Crabs is probably an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) specialist, a small group that is very proud of their occupation. And rightfully so, as the EOD guys I’ve known obviously have gonads the size of basketballs to do what they do – detonating explosives (some of which are terrorist-originated and some that have been in the ground a long time). I’ve always respected the hell out of EOD folks and wish them long life and the best of luck.

        • Dude’s an EOD tech. The top star and laurels of the EOD master badge are visible. Our Badge is referred to as the “crab.” Coins vary according to taste, but the Crab is the same across the board.

  1. Is there a light on that 43x? Looks like there’s could be from the cut of the holster.

Still need a hand light IMO.
