Lawrenceville, Ga. The 7.62 Sandman-L® is designed for those demanding absolute performance in a suppressor. The “L,” or long version, is made and constructed from the same materials used in the “S” version and measures in at 8.9″. It offers true sound reduction of 31dB firing standard 7.62 ammunition. Just like the “S,” the long version uses Dead Air’s industry best QD system for fool-proof quick one handed mounting. The mount features Nitride® finished 17-4 stainless steel construction for the ultimate in durability. The Sandman-L® features a detachable front cap with an integrated flash hider. I never should have gone to Texas. Now I want suppressors for everything.
The listed pricing seems screwed up – the Ti can has got to cost more than the other two.
Frightfully expensive, even aside from the tax.
They’ll be sold for 150.00 – 200.00 less than MSRP by most dealers.
Still ridiculously expensive for a muffler.
This company isn’t alone in this; all suppressors I see for sale seem ridiculously expensive.
Federal regulations and taxes are responsible. They not only add significant direct cost to the manufacturing and sales process, but they drive down demand. Were silencer companies able to sell 50x more because we could freely purchase them, the cost would come down with the economies of scale.
I agree with Jeremy. If suppressor companies could produce as many products as the free market wants, and get their capital back within a few months, the prices would certainly drop. As it is I think most suppressor companies have their products shelved for up to a year because of the reduced demand from the NFA.

but even if someday this becomes a possibility here in lincoln land all that i’m going to want to know is does the device make things quieterer and how much does it cost. i’d much rather be reading reviews of the multitude of varied firearms designs than the essentially similar tubes that screw on the end.
When are y’all gonna post a roundup of the Festival?

It was fun. A bit smaller than I would have thought.
The two day drive each way kinda sucked.
It looks like a nice can, but it seems like a copy of the Silencerco Saker that is already available. Similar looking attachment and uses the same materials. Prices aren’t really different either. I have already picked the saker and I still would pick it over this since it is from a reputable company and has been available longer with good long term testing.
It looks like a Saker, because one of the key designers was a Silencerco big wig, not too long ago. He was a big part of the design/R&D there.
