It seems like FN tried to pull a bit of a fast one. They already have a comprehensive lineup of semi-automatic FN-15 rifles, but they have just added a new (small) addition without any fanfare or press release. The FN-15 Pistol is a short barreled firearm with a pistol tube on the rear, available as a Title 1 firearm to American citizens with little more than a NICS check. This would be perfect for DIY Form 1 SBR for those who are so inclined to have one straight from FN’s own factory.
The gun will be available in two barrel lengths (10 and 12 inch) and two calibers (5.56 and 300 BLK) using barrels from FN’s famed barrel; manufacturing facility. It’s a pretty sweet setup, but there’s no additional information available at this time.
Good to see them using the Midwest Industries handguard. It’s one of the nicer handguard I’ve seen on the market.
Why do their AR’s have to be so overpriced? I’ll bet this thing is $1800 minimum. The market is so flooded with AR’s, frankly I’m shocked that nicely built and outfitted AR’s from reputable manufacturers aren’t a whole lot less expensive. Note, I did not say cheaper.
Wow…another AR! Amazing?
You know what I want to see? An overview of the Inland MFG marketed Ithaca model 37 Trench gun (made by Ithaca). There is one Gunblast video which has a short overview of the thing and about nothing else. I can’t even find an article or news release on it. I was hoping Ian and Karl from InRange would have found it and reviewed it as they did booth review their new reproduction M1 Carbines.
I hear ya. I have no beef with ARs, they just bore me to tears.
Nick, brah, see if you can find the HMG booth and get some hands on that stg44 repro they’re cooking. THAT would be fun to see.
I love ARs myself and I own 6 or 7 that I’ve built from parts. But, I am really bored of them. It’s like when I used to go to car shows and swap meets. I got bored of all of the SBCs and SBC parts. I like variety and AR 15s have super saturated the market.
The Ithaca Model 37’s my favorite shotgun; I’ve been looking for a trench gun version. Didn’t hear about this one, thanks!
Cool.
Super great news. I plan to make this my first AR-15 pistol purchase. Hopefully I will be as bored you guys when I get a few more years on me and too much money in the bank!
