There are so many inappropriate, ethnically insensitive jokes here that it’s probably best to just run the press release and call it good:
Gun owners expect longevity and reliability from their firearms. Now, they can increase both with the help of three new firearms maintenance formulas released by Italian Gun Grease (IGG). The three products include IGG’s Tactical Formula Lubricant, Carbon Eliminatorâ„¢ and the Copper/Lead Eliminatorâ„¢. When combined with IGG’s existing lineup of cleaners and lubricants, these new formulas will help shooters minimize malfunctions, improve accuracy and save on cleaning time . . .
At the heart of IGG’s philosophy on firearms maintenance is a systems process approach that is not only used to create the product lineup, but to guide in its use. What this means is that although each individual product is created to solve a specific problem, each formula is also meant to be used sequentially with other IGG products as part of a multi-step process. By using IGG products to first clean firearms, and then to lubricate them, each firearm will perform noticeably better and will require less cleaning time after future use.
IGG Tactical Formula
Made for the serious shooter, the all-new Italian Gun Grease (IGG) Tactical Formula is designed to withstand extreme temperatures and pressures. The Tactical Formula is the ideal lubricant for shooters who demand extreme performance from their weapon and regularly visit the range, shooting at least 200 rounds per outing.
The Tactical Formula reduces friction using IGG’s patented Heat Seeking Molecule (HSM) technology. Instead of being repelled by heat like most lubricants, the Tactical Formula is pulled towards the heat and the points of friction that create it. The HSM actually draws the lubricant into the pores of the metal and will remain in the locations where it’s needed the most. The result is smoother metal and lower barrel temperatures, which in turn makes for fewer malfunctions, higher bullet velocities and less carbon build-up.
The Tactical Formula is available in the following sizes: 2-ounce, 4-ounce, 6-ounce, 1-quart, and 1-gallon. The MSRPs range from $7.95 for the 2-ounce bottle to $288 for the 1-gallon size.
IGG Carbon Eliminator
The Italian Gun Grease (IGG) Carbon Eliminator began as a proprietary formula used to clean heavy carbon deposits from jet engine exhausts and the areas surrounding the 30mm GAU-8 Avenger Cannon. It successfully lived up to the task, has been improved and is now available for cleaning carbon build-up off firearms.
IGG’s Carbon Eliminator breaks down the bonds that attach the carbon to the metal. It is an active cleaner that is completely biodegradable and removes heavily baked-on carbon deposits, oils and even synthetic residues. It is non-toxic, non-corrosive, environmentally friendly and has a built-in natural rust preventative.
The Carbon Eliminator is available in 4-ounce, 6-ounce, 1-quart, 1-gallon and 5-gallon containers. The MSRPs range from $6.50 for the 4-ounce to $149.50 for the 5-gallon size.
IGG Copper/Lead Eliminator
Unlike most cleaners, Italian Gun Grease’s (IGG) Copper/Lead Eliminator does not contain ammonia – which means that it works faster, it’s safer for barrels and it doesn’t stink. The Copper/Lead Eliminator removes copper fouling, lead, plastic and corrosive chlorides.
As copper and lead build up inside the barrel of a firearm, they become layered with carbon and are extremely difficult to remove. The advantage of IGG’s Copper/Lead Eliminator is that rather than trying to corrode all of the copper and lead build-up away, it instead works to break down the bonds that attach them to the metal. Not only is it faster, it is more people friendly, earth friendly and firearm friendly.
The Copper/Lead Eliminator is available in 2-ounce, 4-ounce and 6-ounce quantities with the MSRPs ranging from $8.50 for the 2-ounce bottle to $12.50 for the 6-ounce bottle.
IGG’s Tactical Formula Lubricant, Carbon Eliminator and Copper/Lead Eliminator are all ISO 9001 certified, meaning that there are no variances in the formulas and that there are no recycled chemicals used in the manufacturing process. These products are also USDA rated as H1 and/or H2 food grade.
Italian Gun Grease is based out of Spring Hill, TN and produces 100% American-Made firearm maintenance products. Its mission is to utilize superior chemistry to create industry-changing formulas that will maximize any firearm’s performance. Thanks for being there and picking up the slack.
I don’t know, the picture of the mafioso with the tommy gun seems in poor taste to me. Perhaps I’m too stuffy on the issue.
Is this an all-new line of products?
That just made my day. Iv got to get a bottle of that, even if it works like sh*t, its just to great to pass up.
Dan, nice of you to be PC on this one, but if you go to their web site, they sell shits and caps under the heading of “Guido Gear.” I’d say after that if anybody isn’t PC about them, they asked for it!
I think I’m still going to stick with Slip 2000 and Hoppe’s #9.
I’m Italian. Why do I need this when I can just collect the grease from my hair and use it to lube my guns?
You Too?
