Redfield’s new ‘Counter-Strike’ is an AR laser/optics combo with an integrated base and mount. Leupold/Redfield brought one to Media Day At The Range, realizing only too late that their AR’s slght base perfectly blocked the red laser. No laser would have helped much in the desert glare, but the 4 MOA dot stood out clearly even against the brightest backgrounds.
MSRP: $189.
This made in America like their other scopes or some offshore rebranded junk?
For $190 I would assume offshore.
As far as I am aware, _none_ of their scopes are made in the USA. That is not to say they’re bad scopes, though.
Their scopes are made in the USA! The big draw for the Redfield scopes is that you get a high quality, American made product with the experience and quality of Leupold. It’s kinda like a Chevy vs. a Cadillac.
At that price point I’d rather have a Lucid.
Are the laser and dot linked at all?

The MSRP is $4 lower than Bushnell’s ACOGish X2-32 Trophy Tacticle red/grn IR that uses the “Broken T” and a 1 MOA dot, a combo that allows dead on, hold over and a few other options. Frankly after having played with Push Button Technology in sub-sub- freezing no light circumstances I’ll take the ‘compactor’ more user friendly Bushnell
I suspect Valve Inc. will sue for copyright infringement over the name. Let’s be honest, what ISN’T Gabe Newell doing to keep Half Life 3 from ever being released?
Did I forget to mention Tiny Buttons, Really, Really Cold Temps, temperture adverse digits being unable to recognise which button was which?.
