150 lumens isn’t all that bright these days. Maybe it’s got a great beam pattern, and 150 lumens of single-wavelength light is more effective than 150 lumens of white light… but I don’t get it.

It does a good job at explaining the difference. I think you hit the nail on the head with the single-wavelength explanation. This is typically the wavelength that most non-IR night vision systems are best at boosting…thus a 150 lumen green light would provide a whole lot of illumination when paired with night vision system without spooking the hogs.
The price is so high for this light. I have Armytek Predator 670 lumens, beam distance is about 437 yards and price is about $110. Sounds good:)
