Unlike some other options, TacProGear’s Covert Go-Bag can’t accurately be called a turse. No, this baby is a single strap daypack. But don’t worry, it still has all the tacticalia you’d want including miles of MOLLE loopage and room for what TacProGear calls its Universal Pistol Wheel, a Velcro holster insert gizmo for your concealed carry pleasure and edification. Press release after the jump . . .

The TacProGear Covert Go-Bag with a single shoulder strap offers all the functionality of a day pack with a few very unique features. The Covert Go-Bag boasts plenty of interior storage (13″ x 19″ x 5″) and external MOLLE webbing for the addition of accessories or pouches. The dual-entry zippered pockets provide the perfect location for the Tacprogear’s proprietary Universal Pistol Wheel; a conceal carry platform that securely holds a handgun with hook and loop closure and allows the user to insert it in the pack and adjust the platform using hook and loop to the user’s preferred angle of draw from the pack. Another unique feature of the Covert Go-Bag is the ability to hold a standard ballistic plate for security or undercover operators.

The Tacprogear Covert Go-Bag is available in black, OD green, coyote tan and Multicam® and is available for purchase on the website for an MSRP of $110.00.

    • You’d be surprised how many hipsters in NYC roam the streets with MOLLE bags because it’s “chic”.

  1. Yep, even WITHOUT the molle, that there bag is not so “covert” if we can all see it. Another silly marketing tag.

  2. if it didn’t look tacticool, no one could justify the excessive price. you want covert? laptop bag, hiking pack, or anything you actually see around town. I just picked up a backpack from a skate shop yesterday. has padded pockets that damn near seem like they were made for a handgun. main compartment will certainly fit any subgun, and there are two more zippered compartments that perfectly accommodate 30-rounders. price paid? for a superbly crafted “skate pack”? $25 on sale marked down from $40..

  3. I’d be shocked – absolutely shocked I say – to find a gun in a black ballistic uni-strap bad covered with MOLLE loops.

  4. Single-strap Atom bag by Patagonia is $45. Smaller, but really is “covert,” given the lack of molle and the Patagonia tag. Off-body carry is a bad idea anyway.

  5. Get rid of the MOLLE, make it a medium-dark grey instead of tactical black, and lower the price by 40-60% and you’d have yourself a winner. Right now this is about as covert as NY SWAT team.

  6. Other than a lack of MOLLE straps, what’s wrong with, I don’t know, a $15 backpack from Wally World?

Any one of those would hold my laptop, documents, gun, ammo, some power bars, bottled water, a first aid kit, a Sub 2K and more ammo, AND it would be less conspicuous than this or that man purse. Not to mention that it’s a better balanced load.

  7. Tacticool makes no sense in the gun unfriendly areas. The afore-mentioned Wally World bags are just a few bags that do about the same and don’t stick out as much. For a lot less.

  8. I have seen laptop bags like this at wal-mart for $20, even with molle. What kinda mall ninja would be complete without an overpriced man pouch? I’ll stick with my 13 year old jansport back pack I keep in my trunk at all times.

  9. I’ve seen the Wally World bags – they are worth $20 because the fabric is about 200D nylon…thin, and wont last long..so I guess you get what you pay for. I havent seen this bag, but their site says its 1000D, which is the best material. I guess if you compare it to this blackhawk bag, or maxpedition bag

the MSRP is about the same, but I found it on optics planet for $79…

  10. Laptops are common now; everyone’s these to decide on school or when they travel for work. They’re useful and to maneuver with. What on earth is also common should be to see someone scrambling to discover a place to charge a laptop battery. That report due tomorrow may suddenly be lost if you don’t find an outlet within thirty seconds… Or that slideshow you could have created (but carelessly forgot just to save) may disappear should your laptop battery is just not recharged.,.;*
